One of the most amazing experiences we’ve had. Driving a classic VW camper into the mountains to watch the stars. Hannes is extremely helpful and friendly. The vehicle drove like a dream, is clean and well equipped. The entire experience was very pleasant and one to remember. A definite must do!
Had an epic, hassle free trip with lekker campers. Pick up and drop off were quick and easy, and Hannes was a pleasure. The Prado was able to get us anywhere we needed to go :
On the trip we had many problems, missed flight, flat tire, broken windshield... But thanks to the help that Hannes gave us, everything was solved efficiently. He was always aware of our comfort and gave us very good advice on places of interest outside the tourist routes. Great connoisseur of South Africa I highly recommend this company. Thanks to your help and encouragement, the vacation went from hell to wonder. Thank you Leker.
My friend and I rented a T3 VW campervan from Lekker camper for 5 days and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The handover was so easy and Hannes made us feel welcome from the first moment. He brought the camper into Cape Town and met us at the Rent a car where we left our rental car. Hannes explained everything and was so nice, the camper was old but in very good conditions and very clean! We drove around the Cape area and into the mountains and had no problems whatsoever with the car. Hannes also provided lots of information regarding campsites or mustsee places. Availability on the sites was no problem beginning of March. Handover was easy and quick at the dropoff at the airport. We would give Lekker Campers a straight 10 out of 10 and will hopefully be back soon! Thank you again Hannes!

great 4 weeks in SA , i rented one of the old VW's. she went and went, they are well kitted out and perfect for a couple or solo trip. Hannes very helpful, he can suggest good places to go and will assist you wherever he can- he came and swapped out a fuel pump right away when it faulted. highly recommend.
Had a great experience with Lekker Camper. Me and my friend rented oldschool VW bus to go to a music festival and it was perfect. Hannes is a great and helpful guy.
We rented a camper this past weekend. We loved it! The camper drove well and it was nicely kitted out. The bed was super comfy. Lekker Camper's service is exceptional. They're helpful, friendly and punctual. We'll definitely be hiring from them again.
Glamping it!! Absolutely loved this lekker camper van. Nice easy to drive the automatic and packed with practical, much needed camper goodies we didn't know we needed. From the comfortable bed, duvet, curtains, table, chairs, LED lights, charging station, extra blanket, this camper made our weekend out in the bush easy, comfortable and memorable. Hannes was responsive, super friendly and easy to engage with. Thank you so much for the amazing service. I won't be glamping without it and will definitely be back!!
