I spent 2 days in the neurology ward. I can’t give the staff enough credit for their work. Everyone was so kind and professional. The food was great and I never once felt unwelcome. The nurses are energetic and delightful, constantly checking in and offering explanations and help. Thank you!
Was admitted to ward 207 neuro. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The noise at night however was very inconsiderate and i did complain. They tried their best after. Food i wont give too many stars, but not something to really complain about. Prof Modi is excellent!! I really do want to thank him for his honesty and friendliness. Prof you are blessed with an gift from God use it well : Thank you to all staff
I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I always get when I visit the facility. This is the 2nd time the nurses at casualty are rude to me. They were doing TikTok videos when they should be assisting people, they were addressing me with an attitude as if I am not paying like every other patient there. The nurses were gossiping about my condition and laughing as if I am not sick. That hospital doesn’t feel like a private hospital, it is as good as a public hospital because the service is poor, the doctor took 45mins to come and help me and he couldn’t even tell me what is really wrong with me. It’s a pity I didn’t get those nurses’ names because I was gonna expose them right here, they are rude and lazy, you’d swear they were forced to do nursing. That whole staff is disgusting, the only nice people are the securities at the door besides that, there’s not good about that hospital. All I can say is that I don’t recommend anyone to go to that hospital rather find other facilities where you’ll be treated right as a patient.
Competent medical practitioners and services are delivered swiftly. A spotless environment and pleasant atmosphere.
The receptionist is very rude and condescending. She doesn’t know her job and her customer service is at 0%. She acts like she’s doing us a favour. It’s a shame because that’s the first person you interact with, when there. The maternity ward receptionist Sis Pamela - I think is worse! She made my stay uncomfortable and treats patients, patients’ family and even nurses terrible. I saw her make a nurse cry! If it won’t for Sis Fundi, Sis Faith and Sis Mary, I would not have had a comfortable experience at that hospital. It is a so-called private hospital but everything besides a few nurses makes it feel like a public hospital esp those receptionists! I’ve seen similar negative reviews about these receptionists and even the hospital’s tendency to act like a public hospital and nothing has been done to this day! All we get is a uniform response, like seriously?
I cannot put it in words how disappointed I always get when visiting the facility. The services given to us patients by the front office emergency unit reception/ causalities is very bad. Life Brenthurst Hospital is a private facility but it does not feel like that , I’ve been coming to the hospital several times and it’s not even improving with their services In this Hospital you wait for an hour even 2 or even 2 and half to see your doctor mot even a doctor sometimes a nurse and no matter how much pain you might have the staff by the reception is honestly good for having alot of things to say about patients and giving you bad bad attitude. For the amount of money the hospital claims on the medical aid , and co -payments made all the time when having to see or get help and to get such services no its not fair at all. Honestly the only thing keeping me here is for the checkups i’m currently doing but either than that just wanna finish and get over and done with being here no lies I wouldn’t recommend the hospital to anyone. MY MAIN COMPLAIN IS THE WAITING FOREVER AND THE RUDENESS FROM THE FROMT EMERGENCY UNIT RECEPTION STAFF AND IF THEY SAY THERES ONE DOCTOR AVAILABLE THEN I GUESS THEY SHOULDN’T TAKE PATIENTS IN IF THEY NOT GONNA BE ABLE TO HELP THEM. I understand this is a hospital and you have to be patient with regards to everything but no this is really not fair. I don’t know if the nurses are slow or just not working at a good pace but no ! The nurses some of them are nice but some have their days.
To say I am disappointed with the nursing care and cleaning service in the hospital would be an understatement. I'm admitted in section 2 orthopedic unit. One nurse raised her voice at me for something she failed to explain fully. One nurse does one thing and then another comes in and does or say their own thing. The lack of communication is appalling. Day one post op I had no assistance at all, not even the simple courtesy of helping me get my things to the bathroom then I would take it from there. One nurse stood by the nurses station and watched me carry my stuff to the bathroom while pushing a drip stand. It's really something to see how little care nurses have these days. Its day 4 in hospital and my bed was only changed once, im not sure if thats the hospital protocol or what........... maybe it is. But as nurses we're painted with the same brush when they say "nursing has gone to the dogs" do better colleagues. To the cleaning service.....paper towels and toilet paper was not refilled till we the patients had to ask, the there was a water spill which was left there the while day till a patient had to ask the night staff cleaner to mop it up. Because the shower water leaks out, we the patients lay down the gowns or towels we have previously used to prevent slipping but again these are not removed till you say something about it. With the unpleasantries aside. I am greatful to Dr Dingayo and Dr kasumba for their treatment and care. They were a super team in diagnosing and treatment of my symptoms.
I’m sitting in ER and been waiting for the Dr for more than 45 min. The nurses were cool but reception was horrible. Go to better health care facilities if you can
OMG, what wonderful staff from the security at the entrance, to the admissions, porters, sister's. They made my husband so comfortable, ar ease and welcome. Plus when we visited, also so good.
I’m very disappointed at the rudeness of Sister/Nurse Zama or Zandi at Lancet Brenthurst.. i told her i’m scared of needles and didn’t even refuse for her to stop pricking me but she told me i complain too much . she’s very impatient and went on to cause drama and said she will report me to the lancet office to say i refused. it’s very disappointing that we come here and receive such treatment
