We HIGHLY recommend Sandy from Love Africa Travel without any hesitation. She was VERY responsive, listened to all of our wishes and crafted a PERFECT trip to 4 countries in Southern Africa. We compared several other companies and her charges were the most reasonable of all of them. It is not a huge, glossy agency—and that is why the rates are so fair—you don’t pay big mark up for fluff and stuff! She made great suggestions for lodges and the itinerary. Everything went very smoothly…but we know she would have jumped through hoops for us should we have hit any snags. She PATIENTLY answered a zillion questions while we were in the planning phase and her responses with accurate and helpful…and she added on another person to our trip without batting an eye. We hope to get back to Africa in the next few years and we will ABSOLUTELY use Love Africa Travel again!!
Sandy did an amazing job of suggesting places to visit coordinating our travel. All our excursions, safaris, transport and flights went perfect. It was a trip that exceeded all our expectations. We LOVED Africa Travel.

She was easy to contact - always responding to emails in a timely fashion. Loved Africa - we will be back and I will be dealing with her again!
We love Love Africa Travel! Sandy Russell is the absolute best! We traveled to South Africa at the end of August 2016 and Sandy was our contact. She was amazing both before and during our trip. She was very easy to get in contact with and had great suggestions for us. We gave her a budget and told her what we wanted to see and she was the only one who was able to give us what we wanted within what we wanted to spend. She checked in on us when we were traveling and everything she booked for us turned out to be absolutely amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend using Sandy to plan a trip to Southern Africa. My wife and I used Sandy and Love Africa Travel to help us arrange our trip to Cape Town and Kruger in June 2017. Our trip was a great success and working with Sandy was one of the reasons. Having a person from South Africa that knows the lodges and places was very helpful. Sandy was responsive and easy to work with and handled all of the arrangements and reservations for us once we made a decision on our lodging. I would definitely recommend using Sandy if you are considering travel to Africa.
Sandy is amazing! It was our first time to South Africa and Sandy made planning so easy. From initial conversations to questions during our trip, she was always quick to reply with information needed. Her expertise and advice for the different areas of Kruger and surrounding Game Concessions helped us select the best Private Game Reserve for us from the numerous options she provided. Highly recommend working with Sandy on any travel plans!
Sandy was invaluable in helping me plan the trip of my lifetime. I had contacted a few travel agents before her and they didn't respect my budget and were giving me quotes that were unreasonable. Sandy was able to help me with all the logistics of planning my 8 night safari and she got me great rates. I know because I contacted the lodges separately to compare. She arranged for my transportation between lodges and everything went smoothly. Whenever I had any questions she was there to help. I planned a three week trip to South Africa and while I booked my own flights and some accommodations, she helped with whatever I asked her to, often getting great package rates. Three weeks before my trip, one of the safari lodges had a fire and it appeared as if we would be stuck with no place to stay for three nights. I had planned my entire trip to end at this one lodge because they had a tree house. Everything was booked solid but Sandy worked magic and got us in another lodge nearby and booked into another tree house. During the trip, we needed to cancel an excursion and Sandy handled that and we were refunded immediately. Lastly, when one lodge tried to charge us additional fees a quick phone call to Sandy resolved it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandy for any of your travel needs. I fell in love with Southern Africa and hope to return one day. Should I get the chance to do it again, I will definitely contact Sandy again and use her services.
Sandy is just an amazing person. We had a great South African holiday, thanks to her who went the extra mile in planning our trip and made sure we had everything we wanted. Right from choosing the right lodge for us at Kruger since we were travelling with a 6 yr old and had to make sure to choose a private lodge which was fun and child friendly to planning our itinerary for our road trip along the Garden Route, she guided us with her tips, to dos, and made sure we got what we wanted according to our budget and needs. Our pre plans had to be changed at the last minute and I was busy looking at references online getting confused with the vast amount of information there, but Sandy came to our rescue and made sure we didn't miss out on anything for the remainder of our trip and planned for us. We had an amazing safari, a great shark cage diving experience and enjoyed the splendid African landscape, being on the road and not having to worry about anything since Sandy made sure all the reservations, bookings etc were taken care of and we could just enjoy our holiday. I would recommend contacting Sandy to everyone because shell take care of you and make you 'love africa travel'.
Working with Sandy has been great. Initially I wrote to 4 people for quotes for our upcoming South African vacation. Sandy responded the fastest always to all questions, even on a weekend. Then when all seemed decided we suddenly had to change our schedule and Sandy handled that so well. She was able to understand what our family needed and got us the best rates.
