Maanlig Resort

Our family visited from 10-12 February 23. We stayed in chalet 4. The chalet had everything needed and more. Only had to take towels and toilet paper and of course our food and fishing tackle Our fishing stands were +/- 15 meters in front of the chalet. There's a braai at the chalet as well as the stands. Fishing was great with magnificent sunsets. There's also a pool a kids play area and a restaurant which offers take aways. Will visit again.

Lovely and peaceful. Fully equipped, beautiful green grass to sit and read book why little one plays on the jungly gyms. Very friendly welcome. Maybe more coffee or rather milk then cremora, so calm and safe, need more coffee for midnight chats by the dam and bon fire. Price was fair. A good 6 thumbs up.

This camping site only consists of two bathrooms that are a drive away, there are no water sources near the stands and the quality of management and customer service is poor. I hope to see better attitude from the staff that so repeatedly tell everyone that the shop is closed throughout the day when supply is ergently needed. I expect better from the Maanlig oord in the future.

Very nice and clean definitely worth a visit especially if you enjoy fishing

The quality of management and customer service is poor. Personnel are so rude and sarcatic all the time. There are only 2 small bathrooms that never has toilet paper or hand soap available. There are no water available at the campung sites, and water available cannot be used as preferred. Management decides when you have used enough water and will tell you to use the dams water instead. Braaiers are never cleaned while you are staying there! The prices for the chalets are soo ridiculous high for no private bathrooms! . For the price you pay per night, I expected sooo much beter !

Not good for fishing !!!!But a need place nice for a weekend

With the boats thats coming from Steve's place it makes it a very terrible experience to try and fish at Maanlig.if the boats are not there the dam would be alot better aswell as what you pay for.

Kids enjoyed the day, just swimming in the dam and the boat ride

They are very bad in customer care, and the staff is corrupt they steel your money with no regrets!!!!!!
