Close enough to PTA, friendly staff, water and electric on the first pegs up to the jetty. Bathrooms kept clean and tidy. Shoreline is lush grass. If your willing to fight the plants for a decent carp you will be rewarded! They take hard and fast! Day time bass hunting along the plants is a-lot of fun too!

The dam is infested with green hyacinths so at the moment the fishing is difficult. Facilities are rundown but still a nice nature area for birding and taking grandkids fishing.

Great weekend. Place is clean and spacious. Kids had a ball with the boat on the water. Would recommend

I would not recommend camping here. Once was enough. 6km dirt road that is not meant for anything other than a bakkie. There was only 1 bathroom block open for the entire place and it is so so far from where you camp. No toilet paper in any bathrooms you need to buy or bring your own. No soap to wash hands or paper towels. The bathrooms are dirty, FILLED with spiders and spider webs. For what you pay, it was terrible.
