The owners and staff are extremely inviting and welcoming! The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The cleanliness was magnificent and there is even a traditional style pub that's always full of people with good stories. I have stayed there every time I have visited Clarens and see no reason to ever change. I love it there. They are very accommodating and i have used them for team-building weekends and personal trips and always want to stay longer.

We were 20 bikers booked for Saturday night. They accommodated us on having a group braai. I was impressed as they really went out of their way to accommodate us. Things that did not impress me is the road leading up to the bungalows. Gravel very bad. Advertised as "biker friendly" Defenitely NOT a biker friendly road. Very expensive rooms.

This is a place that I have driven past several times without as much as a second look. I'm amazed on staying here how beautiful, classy and world class it is. With well-kept grounds teaming with rabbits, beautiful gardens and spacious, semi-detached rooms, this place will appeal to tourists and visitors who enjoy nature.

We stayed over for two nights 2 and 3 May 2021. Rooms were neat and tidy staff was very friendly and breakfast was super . Will recommend the Lodge to everyone. I will be back forsure . Thanks Dan and Lisa we enjoyed your hospitality.

Comfortable beds. Good linen. 2 double beds in our room. Clean rooms with shower. Tv in room. Best view of the mountains. Coffee/tea station with kettle. Excellent full breakfast. Omelette not greasy. Tasty toast! Value for money. Friendly owner. Gardens well kept and safe parking. Definitely recommended.
