What a lovely venue for a farmers/craft Market. Set in the banks of a beautiful lake with lots of space to enjoy with the family and dogs. Can totally make a day of it with a great meal from one of the food vendors and spend time checking out all the interesting craft goods on sale. Market happens last Saturday of every month and is well worth the visit!

I was free state it was stunning I enjoyed a lot

I spent heritage day weekend at the farmers market. It was crazy hot but I still had fun. I ate at 2 places but I highly recommend Che Argentines stall. The Mexican food was a let down. It looked beautiful but didn't actually take good. They had live performances so it was nice to sit on the grass and just listen to and sing along to live music. I'd definitely go again,

This market was stunning BEFORE;  they moved. You used to walk comfortably under the trees in beautiful shade, there was lots of stalls of farm products and more. The new venue is very disappointing, there's no shade to shop in. In fact, I actually avoided shopping because we were getting burnt by the sun. I only stopped at stalls that had shade for me to brows, which isn't the vendors fault. Out of the very few stalls that are there, they have duplicate vendors selling the same products. From what i noticed, 2 ice-cream vendors and 2 honey stalls. We didn't stay long because, as I mentioned, we were roasting in the sun, and unfortunately, we won't go back until they find a venue that caters more for the shoppers.

Lovely place. Beautiful view over the dam. The market was very quiet though and the weather was very bad. Lots of different kind of stalls which was very nice. Let's see how it goes end of next month.

Not exactly a farmers market, normal flea market stalls  Response to owners comment - Great that you have more farmer's stalls. When we visited 3 months ago there was only one small stall. Definitely will be visiting again

Family Weekend Getaway and chill by the lake whilst watching the Waves, the Ducks and the wind blowing on your face this is a perfect spot to spend moments with family.  Affordable Entrance as well as the Flamingo Shopping Center is close by which makes is way easier to get some snacks when the Market is not open for the other 3 Weeks.  Seeing the kids run up and down and enjoying themselves is but a blessing that I can tell you .  Kudos to Joburg Parks for this jam

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful surroundings.  Variety of food. A must!

Great on a Sunday morning. Need to go early otherwise it gets to busy.

Relaxed & calm morning spent at this very quaint farmers market, not too many stalls but that actually added to the peaceful setup.  This market functions every last Saturday of the month.
