Moffatview satelite Police station

I had a very unpleasant experience at the police station today. Only 1 person allowed in at time. Went to get an ID copy certified .Was waiting outside in cold no place to sit. I was at doctors in morning for lower back pain and can't stand for very long periods. Very slow service. People were getting impatient, some left the queue. I asked to speak to station commander. The constable at desk said it was him. Then I saw a captain. Spoke to him. He said like doctors we must wait. Asked him who station manager was and he ignored. I asked his name would not give to me. He was not wearing his name tag. I said staff member we can see from the queue is sitting on his phone watching videos, can't he assist. He called thar person and said I am complaining that he is on his phone. I felt intimidated and threatened by them. Police have no right to treat public like that, I was just enquiring to see the station commander. I then decided that I would rather remove myself from that situation. I went to mondeor police station. Was their less than 10 mins. They were very pleasant to deal with.

Unfortunately service is slow here. There are usually no long lines and you'd expect swift service. However their personal are always there to assist you. Make sure you have all your facts in order before going here.

Pathetic service. The attitude from one male police offices is very bad. Unfortunately I couldn't get his name coz I couldn't see his name tag properly. He was even refusing to help one old lady with the affidavit. After assisting one woman, as she was walking out he was screaming she stinks. Horrible experience I had.

Did my police clearance Feb they told me it will be back after six weeks. I didn't get any SMS so I decided to go and check they told me it's not back yet but they collecting them that it was late April. I went again they told me still nothing. So I decided to do my research on the internet n email the office in PTA, I was so shocked to find out that I the police clearance was collected on the 08th of April.Mxm am heart broken coz I miss out lot of opportunities bcoz of this pples carelessness who do not want to serve the community. Such poor service I will never ever use this useless police station

On the 8th we called the police in moffatview after group of men broke in our apartment and left me and kids traumatized,the police man who answered the phone responded by say what do I want the police to do with the matter when we are staying without paying a rent and that was the end they never came to even see a mess we were in the violence we experienced and trauma may take for years to end but I'm highly disappointed at the police man who responded like he is not a police man or a father whether we get killed or not he couldn't care

Went to Moffatview police station from the get go i was greeted with attitude by 3 different female Sargeants... Seeing I'm not getting any help with my issues but im being referred to different people who i also recieve horrible attitude. I call the Sargeant who was handling my case Sargeant Makwarela She with a very stinking attitude tells me "it's not a must for them to help me"... I left the station with no assistance. If we cannot get help from police station, what should we do?

The service there by reception is very bad, we literally spend the whole night outside waiting because "only one person in at a time", like I don't understand it's small yes yet there's so many people there doing nothing . Yoh they know how to frustrate a person shame

Im so tiered of this station. On the 11th of April 2016 , i handed in my compantacy aplication for a firearm liecence and nothing has been done up to date. They are forever giving me false stories. When i go there, its like they are having a huge party. There is always one policeman to help at the help desk and another 3 or 4 having a conversation amongst them selves. Service to the public does not exsist at mofatview police station anymore. I get the feeling that all they do is sit there for a month at a time just waiting for their salaries. What a pity.

I had an accident yesterday 12 July 2018 on Bellavista road, Westturfontein Johannesburg. Statement taken by a Moffat police officer. This morning I tried on 2 different numbers to contact them to get the case number! They never answered the call! What are they doing. I cannot go to the police station since my car is damaged. Don't know what to do anymore!!! One week later: still not able to be hold of them! Will be loosing big bugs!

This is one of those places that you can not complain about the service. THERE IS NO SERVICE Phone keeps ringing and when someone do answer it takes them +3 hours to come out. Is this what our police service got to now????
