Monte is always a great place to go unwind. I am not a gambler so the casino has no attraction for me. Fortunately the supporting restaurants, stores and entertainment venues are more than enough to keep even a non gambler entertained. The restaurants are for the most part well priced and there is an excellent range so you can enjoy it on a budget. The security is a great advantage as you can feel comfortable with letting the teens roam free without supervision and there are plenty of activities for them too. Overall I think everyone should visit at least once to take in the sights and experience but I am confident that having visited once you will want to return again and again.
Very clean. Perfect for the whole family. There's a cinema, casino, games arcade, bowling, etc and lovely restaurants. The overall design is awesome, it has an Italian feel. Sort of feels like a night out in Italy. You will understand it once you get there. So go go go
Excellent venue to host an event especially the Ballroom. Variety of restaurants makes the place vibrant. The environment is very secure. The security personnel are vigilant all the time. ATMs are readily available in the casino area. Various hotels present a variety of choices.
Fireroom was awesome !! The fillet on the bone and bang bang chicken as well as sushi on fire were absolute hits. Not so much their dessert as it was very dry, plain and simple.
Lovely picturesque scenery. Lots of options for eating out. Play center for kids. Movie house. Latest technology gambling machines with really helpful staff. Lots of paid parking.
Such a magical place! The décor and art of are absolutely beautiful, taking you away to a foreign land. There is definitely something here to do for the whole family, from an inspirational theatre productions to fine dining at luxurious restaurants.
This is my favorite place to be, I feel like I am not in SA when I enter Monte. I do recommend trying out different restaurants when you're there because they sure as hell don't disappoint. Also you'll spend hours and because when you're having fun you don't have time to look at the time lol . Go and have a great time.
Went for a theater play, which was okish. Not ok is popcorn eaten during it : Monte strikes me as a getaway from how city function in South Africa. It is 100% artificial but not distasteful. It serves the purpose of having a simulated experience of walking the "streets" and feeling safe. Lots of restaurants and entertainment. Not a fan of gambling buy sure there is that also, however not super dominating the space, which is good.
Awesome place. Lots of restaurants to choose from but busy so you need to reserve a table. Really good buzz and vibe outside. The big screen outside showing sports is the best
My sister and I had an awesome time together. What a chilled spot to shop nice food for people like us foodies I would highly recommend BillyG buffet.
