Although a smaller theatre, the shows are of great standard and the sound and lighting is good. Staff are helpful and friendly. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase and the restrooms are clean. *The theatre can do with a good deep clean especially the seats, but otherwise it's good.

There is a wonderful intimate feeling to the theater. It has great comfortable seats. We went to see Johnathan Roxmouth's show Key Change and it was fantastic.

Enjoyed such a lovely Sunday at the Montecasino theatre. I went to see Firefly with a my friends and we haven't been to a show in a while so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The show Firefly was directed by Tony Bentel and it was a lovely performance. I would definitely recommend this. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Show was great. Small, intimate theater gives and "old times" feel. Sat on top balcony, struggled a little to see some of stage due to safety bar, will see if better from other seating with next show. Make sure to take jacket / similar it was a little chilly. Watch steps leading to seats some of the anti slip straps were loose Otherwise great experience

I love this cozy theatre and the fact that it is situated walking distance from a hub of great eating spots. "Firefly" was a superb show. Top notch acting.

We watched Alice in Wonderland and we loved the fresh, modern twist to the show. The show is great!! But the venue, the Studio Theatre the small one upstairs, needs a deep clean and refresh. It does not look appealing at all, the seats are cramped and dirty.

Went to see Alice in Wonderland, a bit disappointed, tickets pricey. Intimate little theatre with good lighting and sound. Chairs comfortable but definitely need to be reupholstered. Will keep a watch out for more shows

Enjoyed the great performance of Mzansi ballet’s performance of Cinderella. The theatre is cozy and the sound was great. Seating arrangements considered social distancing. Well done!!!!

Always a wonderful treat to see a show at the Pieter Torien theatre.
