Such great prices, very friendly and helpful staff. Only down fall the popcorn is not hot as it has been prepopped . But other than that great space. Lots of leg room and comfortable
Always a fantastic experience. The movies are situated inside the casino complex, safe convenient parking. Always have the latest releases of both Hollywood and Bollywood movies. The cinema are spacious, clean competitively priced. Refreshments, sweets and popcorn are expensive. Great place for kids, wheelchair friendly. There are eating places, arcade games situated close to the movie house. Strongly recommended.
Our experience this time was not as great as usual, but was still very good. A bright light came on right in the middle of our movie, and was only switched off about 5 minutes later. I do recommend making the lights at the stairs a little dimmer too. I understand why they are there, but they're too bright for people sitting near the isle.
Movie theatres are good but when you buy unallocated seats to an almost full movie, is a problem. You find seats apart and you and your family have to sit in any available seats apart. Not a good experience
Always a fantastic time out to watch the latest released block busters. A good vibe with friendly staff that take care of your requirements from booking your tickets effortlessly to selecting your snacks. Be sure to sign up for the rewards card, if you haven't already, it does hold some benefit to have one.
Great location but can get crazy busy. The theaters seats are so uncomfortable. Otherwise my experience is great.
Very upmarket, clean & neat with tickets priced lower than any Nu Metro or Ster-Kinekor. Good popcorn, drinks and sweets selections and plenty cinemas hosting a variety of movies. Given the food court, safe parking and safe environment, Monte is simply the best, safest and most convenient place to watch movies.
Best cinema I ever went too. The prices are affordable the snacks are delicious and the overall atmosphere was great. I can definitely recommend it for a movie date
Movies at monte is always nice and can be very budget friendly, if you have a gold card which you can get at the information center, your parking fee will be R10 instead of R20, movies are about R80 or so and you can get a combo pack at the condiments section for about R110 so it not too heavy on the wallet. Overall experience is lovely.

As it is the "premier casino destination" in Gauteng and part of the largest tourist destination in Gauteng, it can ALSO offer an art movie or two also on their menu. Seats were comfortable leather seats with air conditioning that works. You can get your favorite popcorn and refreshment options. Disturbing is late comers that is allowed in the middle of movie and people having phones on. That should stopped and be banned. People who come late for movies, should not being allowed in. They struggle to find their seats and cause a big nuisance. Some dodgy characters who are there who lurks around. Like in other cinamas watch your belongings. Some people are not there to watch a movie, but merely there to get hold of your belongings next to you and under your chair.
