We have stayed here previously and it was an amazing stay. The staff made our stay so memorable by adding “special touches” to our room for a milestone anniversary. So we decided to book here again for a spa & stay. We were greeted by a lovely lady Lucia who was working the front desk. She was so polite, friend welcoming! The booking in process was a breeze and off to the room we went. The room was beautiful as usual and we enjoyed our weekend away! The interior of the hotel is magnificent with its old heavy furniture and design. I will return as I enjoy it here! We went for a high tea and the service was really terrible! It took over 20min every time we wanted to order anything and our waitress was never around. We kept having to ask someone to find our waitress! Really not what i expected from the Palazzo! Door and reception staff were amazing, setup awesome, food was ok - savouries delicious but the sweets were not worth the calories. A really special high tea treat out but it could have been so much better! Noteworthy details: Such an amazing welcome at the entrance and reception staff!
Spent a wonderful day at Palazzo. Started with their great buffet breakfast. They serve mimosas with real champagne . The ambience and service is just awesome!Service: 5/5

I love the hotel but their cleaning service is not on par. It's 13:52 now and they just came to clean my room imagine doing my work in a dirty room even yesterday it was cleaned at 11h30 at my request even. They need to hire more staff because the hotel is big.Rooms: 5/5
Always a treat. Our last room had some mold growing in the bathroom and the coffee machine didn't work. Otherwise it was great.Rooms: 4/5
Absolutely pathetic experience. I am staying in this hotel and hospitality is 0. I did ask for cutlery and they asked me if food has been purchased from hotel! Upon saying no, they did not provided cutlery. Such a pathetic service overall and i would never recommend this to anyone Nearby activities: Montecasino
I'm not very impressed. It took ages to get service, and we were never checked up on, if all was ok. We wanted to pay the bill it took so long to find the waiter to pay the bill. Then we got up to the front to go pay, and that also took time. Then we asked for someone to take us back to or cars with the golf cart, and that took us at least another 30- 45 minutes waiting. One of the poor guys that was supposed to have clocked out to go home came to our rescue.
The accommodation was definitely a 5-star experience. The service, on the other hand, was a 1-star experience. We waited for 15 minutes for a cup of five roses and a cup of earl grey tea at breakfast which we eventually realised was delayed because the restaurant had run out of the five roses tea. But the worst experience was finding hair in my food from the buffet breakfast which I reported to the hostess Nellie. After not having received a response from management, we flagged down the floor manager who told us that he had no idea that the incident occurred. Nellie’s response was that I didn’t ask her to call management so she didn’t report it to them, so how much of training do the staff actually have on dealing with customer complaints? And how many other incidents of this nature have been left unreported? The kitchen manager I think it was Grant then called us to say that he couldn’t verify if there was indeed hair in the food since the plate contents was discarded before he could see it. Maybe it’s my fault for not having taken a photograph of the food because I didn’t have my phone with me, but this is supposedly a 5-star establishment so I expected a 5-star experience. It is possible that the hair fell in from one of the guests but we also cant be sure that it didn’t come from the kitchen so I refused to eat breakfast. So much for a 5-star experience for hubby’s birthday – we left hungry and purchased breakfast elsewhere.
Very Disappointed! Our bar fridge and TV was not working. They moved us into another room. The other room had a dirty toilet seat! I have experience much better service at other hotels.
