Netcare Cuyler Hospital

Realy disappointed in the service..waited 90 min to be triaged. No one brought us a wheelchair and had to hop all over... arrived 11pm..was attended to at 4am. Could have gone to a government facility.

Brought my husband in for an emergency 4hours ago and still waiting to se a doctor. Pathetic service from staff. Makes you feel as if you are going to a state hospital. Why must we spend so much money on medical aid but get such bad service from a private hospital. Will never set foot in this Hospital Again. As i am sitting here waiting so many people has walked out without any medical treatment what so ever. Sis one you Cuyler and Staff. Where is the loyalty in the oath you took? Pathetic......

Dr Akpan Experience. Booked a week in advance for a 1pm appointment. Arrived half an hour earlier as told to fill in paperwork. Immediately asked, "Why didn't you call this morning for a number?". No-one told me about this. Eventually at 1:30 the nurse comes around, weighs everyone in the office right there. No privacy. The nurse tells me that I should call in the morning to get a number. That my number is now 8. 1:45pm and the doctor isn't even at the office yet. What is the point of booking an appointment if it works like SARS with numbers? I waited an hour and was then told I'm only 8th. I left because I had somewhere to be at 2:30pm. There were several other women. Most pregnant. How can you let these poor women sit like that for hours ?? How do you run an office like that ? Most pathetic experience. What would happen if I waited until 6pm and it was home time, would I have been told to return the next day ? No thoughts about the client.

Very friendly and helpful. Had to phone daily for updates. Always patient with us. Thank you

Worst hospital ever, waste of our hardcash earned money, I'm currently admitted here but treatment is bad, u can't even get extra pillow or clean linen Nd clean nites, just Bad service Nd the food sucks, being told there's no optional

One of the worst hospitals in the Eastern Cape. They don't put patients in the emergency ward even when having an life threating emergency. Save your family by taking them to Netcare Greenacres, St Georges instead. If u could give them 0 stars it would be only the beginning. Will definitely take it further in court.

I won't recommend this hospital to anyone, rather stick to st George's hospital, the service is horrible at Cuyler, my mother has been admitted to Cuyler and we have been phoning around for 3days now trying to find out what's going on with my mom everyone we talk to gives us a different story OR the nurses are arrogant and rude over the phone. Veri bad service.

The doctors and especially the nurses service is excellent. The food side not so great, not once did I get what I ordered and they also spice the food heavy. I don't know how they expect a person recovering from gastritis to eat spicy food. They really don't look into your dietry needs as I am diabetic and they bring me starchy foods. Not happy at all with the service on food

There is nothing wrong with the hospital but the treatment I received today was horrible. I got to the hospital just after 4am with my 5mnth old baby we were seated outside and only went in at 06h40. Before we even went in the nurse from the inside made a comment to the ambulance driver about my baby sleeping and that she doesn't look sick. While inside she told other nurses that I if I wanted a covid test I could've just gone to the drive through, and the best part is that I came by ambulance. I really hurt me so deep, I mean why would I go to hospital, because I want attention? I've been in a similar situation before, my daughter had high fever and vomited I kept on self medicating, and it ended up with her dying of brain cancer. People should watch what they say, for professionals the experience I had was very unprofessional and insensitive.

Incompetent staff and doctors, simple procedures to do and still not doing a very good job. Food is tasteless and cold, staff not doing what the doctor's order them to do. I must say i had beter experience at provincial, this is scary how poor this place got and it's not the first time.
