Netcare Linmed Hospital

Don’t know why this place is referred to as a private hospital. The service is terrible. I will never set foot there again. I do NOT recommend it to anyone. Waited 17 hours for a scheduled operation. I arrived at 7:00am as instructed and only went into theatre at midnight. Yes you read correctly, midnight! Then i was stupid enough to take my daughter to their emergency rooms two days ago with a fever of 40 degrees. Took 4 hours before we could see a doctor. Blood tests were taken and we weren’t given results the following day as promised. They even forgot to take some of the blood samples to the laboratory. Being there is a shock to the system I tell you. A complete shock.

I will never step foot in this hospital ever again. I took my father to casualties as his toe was hanging by a thread and there was blood everywhere. He lost so much blood and was about to fall over. We waited for over an hour and then eventually left because he needed urgent care. I kept pleading with staff that they please need to help him but they said no there is a line. 2 children who were playing games on their phones were helped before my father was who was loosing a lot of blood. I am absolutely disgusted by this hospital and I will be taking this further.

If only there was a zero star….. We arrived at 17:24 with my brother in law- he has severe chest pains to such an extent that he’s writhing in pain. It is now 21:20 and we still have not seen a doctor. The nurses seem to justify this 4 hour wait in pain by saying that he has paracetamol- which was finished about 45 minutes into his visit. Do not use this hospital.

Terrible service. After hours casualty is slow. Admission ask you to signs things with no reference or context to what you signing. Nurses not all more specifically medical ward are inconsiderate and rude Also pathetic tiny over priced parking

I would say yes a good hospital because of how they take care of our kids but one thing is how rude the PA at the desk is in the children ward... I actually want to get out of this hospital because of how rude she is, I'm trying to make my child sleep but she will come in loud and tell me only one parent aloud, we have been here for 3 days why on the 3rd day only something gets said, if I was told on day 1 no problem.. and in a good manner, and the worst thing is why couldn't she have waited for my child to fall asleep and come and talk to me better, I'm very upset and angry of this situation, very rude, and I won't stop here I will make sure something is done about this, she is also very untidy, all the other nurses that work in the ward are sweet and look very professional and are sweet with the kids, but the PA at the desk is so unprofessional I'm really upset about this, and I'm 35 weeks pregnant trying to look after my sick child, I don't need someone like this to make me angry and for my bloode pressure to go up, this lady needs to apologize

I would like to thank the ambulance crew, emergency facility, the nursing and cleaning staff at the hospital for their dedication to helping my wife recovery from her emergency operation this past Christmas weekend. Bless you all!

My mom was here yesterday, she had to get an operation done under Dr Chris for her top teeth she went to the theater to get operated on because she has an immune disease which makes anesthesia very dangerous for her . The doctor was extremely helpful and friendly, he also definitely had a ton of experience. The nurses assisting the operation were absolutely wonderful, they were some of the most caring and compassionate people I have met to date, I truly commend them, they are absolute angels. Everyone helping in this hospital that we came in contact with were extremely friendly. The anesthesiologist was very experienced and knew exactly how to treat my mom, causing no breathing issues or serious lung problems. This hospital gave us the best help that they could and we really have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for the seriously remarkable work that you put in and the extreme friendliness of all of you, we will never forget it!

WORST HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS EVER! We waited 18 hours for a doctor to come and see a family member who was on the verge of dying! They say they have other patient too. If we pay the same price don’t take in patients if you cannot assist them! Bad bad bad service! Rather drive to a different hospital!

Worst service at reception. Staff incompetent with computer . Took 30 min to sign in on pc and 20 min to find a name on existing files . There were no other patients and this seems to be a new trend . This hospital is getting a bad reputation

How can this hospital still operate. I hope none of my family members will ever have to receive medical attention at this facility.
