It was very good. Shopping experience was perfect.
Inside the store is leaking. Needs to be resolved urgently. Still got cardboard on certain parts of the floor. Fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
Spar was good but too many unmasked car guards who just want to push your trolley without even asking and Its too crowded inside and they should have more strict control on how many people are entering at a time. .. SPAR covid protocols should be followed inside and outside as this your premises.. The risk is too high..
Probably one of the worst Spars around Durban. They have limited stock, damaged trolleys, electrical issues at the fridges which is a safety hazard for consumers, could also do with a better cleaning system - overall, the ONLY good thing about this store is that they close late, leaving you with a much better option than the garage.
Very limited variety of products. It's in terrible condition. The food is good, but the actual infrastructure needs maintenance. The ceiling is broken, rotted and leaking. There are buckets of water, all over the store. Wet cupboard on the floors. It needs serious attention
Parking is accommodating And safe. Trading hours are quite suitable. However the leaking of their roof is quite a problem. Floors constantly have boards and buckets to collect the water which drips. This is very unhygienic and it makes the shop look dirty.

Clean, Spacious, Loaded, Friendly, Professionally designed; equipped & managed. It's been quite a pleasure & more of an honour to buy there, having Hot Chocolate with Chelsea Buns on our way out was a Cherry on The Top for my wife and daughters. Keep Up the Good Work
Sad to see that in a time like this that you will only supply people in parlock as if it is not part of Newlands. We in the Newlands area have supported you for years even though your competitors are closer to us. I hope that people see this review and choose to not support your business in the future. It will be a sad day when you require assistance from the "Newlands Residents"
This is the local Spar here in Newlands East and to say the least it really does not uphold the Spar name brand very good. Every time it rains the whole store gets flooded from leaks from the roof. This has been like this for some time and nothing seems to be done about it. Health hazard as the leaks are all around open food especially by the bakery.
