A comfortable and affordable Safari Camp inside the Kruger National Park

Description

Nkambeni Safari Camp welcomes you in an amazing place, the Kruger National Park.

We offer a safari style camp with en-suite permanent tents all fitted with air conditioning and indoor and outdoor showers with a deck and wonderful views of the surrounding Kruger National Park.
You can relax on our deck where you can find the bar, the restaurant and a lounge area or sunbathe next to our swimming pool where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the park.
Our camp is fenced for security reasons, but animals are free to come and visit us close to the fences. We also have a little dam where Hippos enjoy their hottest days.

If you want to experience the park, you can choose between Game drives in the park or in our private concession and book what you like directly at our reception. We have a variety of activities, from Morning Game Drives in the park to Sundowner on our private concession.

Incredible experience here! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful, the tents were beautiful and comfortable AC and heat, and the location is amazing. There are hippos in the pond across the fence near the pond and impala nearby. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious too!Rooms: 5/5
We recently had a camp there. The food was very delicious and the rooms was so peaceful especially with the aircons. The pool was amazing to help cool down in the sun and the views of the Kruger is amazing with the water hole. The little viewing deck is great and shaded with a beautiful boma. Overall it's a great camp and lodge for a peaceful getaway.
Great overall experience. We were part of a group tour. The tents are excellent. The staff is great. The food is great. The ambience is great. The safari vehicles and the rangers are excellent. I read reviews of the train that passes next to the property. It does but never caused a problem to us when we were there 3 nights and I am a light sleeper. Never had to use the insect repellent when we were there. The pool is excellent. It is not heated but it was not cold even in the night when we were there so that was not a problem. The property is fenced and we had sightings of Impalas from the restaurant. The restaurant has a great view to the pool and the nature. Had a great time. Thank you Nkambeni.
My husband and I had the best experience ever with the camp and its workers! Everything was exceptional. We normally do not visit a place twice, but with Nkambeni safari camp we are definitely going to visit again!!!!! Keep up with the GREAT work guys!!!!!!Rooms: 5/5
My tent was one of the older tents that should be upgraded. The buffet style meals are well prepared but restaurant can be very busy early morning session. Nearby activities: They offer excursions into the Kruger National Park.
Amazing experience at this lodge, probably the best location which I have stayed in during my time in South Africa. The lodges are great and I would have definitely loved to stay longer. The restaurant which belongs to this property is also very good. If I am ever going to be in the area again I wouldn’t doubt a second to make a new reservation at this place.
Spent 6 nights at Nkambeni just before Christmas and can't believe the helpful and friendly staff throughout the whole resort. Our tent was always spotless, beds and linen perfect with daily fresh towels. Breakfast and dinners were superb and the staff on the ball all the time. Recommend the omelette by Mungo.
Bearing in mind that these are tented, the accommodation was very good. Netting round the bed, air conditioning all made it feel comfortable. You could see hippos in the water hole. The swimming pool was very clean. Nearby activities: Excellent for safaris and Bush walks.

Spent 2 nights here at Nkambeni. The rooms were comfortable loved the tented vibe, The highlight for us were the open air showers. Situated on a gravel road just before the Kruger Numbi gate,Will definitely be visiting again.
