Nokeng Eco Lodge

The sleeping facilities were subpar: the bathrooms varied from actually being bathrooms or just rooms with a sink, toilet and some sort of water source to clean yourself, like just a tub. The insect issue was ridiculous and combined with the fact that there were more insects I've ever seen in my life at least 20 different species were trying to come inside at all times, varying from huge insects to small ones and that even with a fan, during the night the heat was even hotter than during the day, it was pretty hard to sleep peacefully. However, the sleeping accommodations were the worst part, and from there it only went up. The rest of the facilities were nice and big with much to do, and on the facilities there were two really sweet dogs that really made going there worth it.

I was there for business and just needed a bed for one night. The accommodation is very affordable compared to 95% of the lodges in the area, this is less than a fifth of what most others charge. The cottage was very basic, no tv, no wi-fi, no towels, no soap, no coffee/tea/sugar/milk BUT it was spotlessly clean and served my purpose, I needed nothing more. It is really peaceful and quiet out there, the stars were beautiful and I had a great night on the farm. Book-in was a charm and the lady that met be was very friendly. A cup of morning coffee would have been great though. I would recommend the owners improve their Google listing with better photographs so that people know what they are booking, I am a Real Estate Photographer by the way if you need a pro contact me :- And also they have to inform their guests beforehand that there are no refreshments and towels, actually they should supply these and rather charge a bit more, seriously I have stayed in hundreds of guesthouses and for the past four years I haven't been to one without these, it's the norm now.

Place, buildings not well maintained. Electricity traps time and again. Pool dirty not functioning. Fridge not working properly. Linen not washed. Beautiful Eco site but badly maintained. Cost more than the services rendered. No WiFi, not good quality water. Would recommend it for tent camps.

Extremely nice place for the outdoor person. Nice braai/boma area. While the fire do its things you can relax and stare into the bushveld. Nice walk paths and the river has a lot of hidden fish in. We managed to caught quite a lot of bass and release them all again. Swimming pool is super.

While visiting Marulani Bush Lodge, we had the great privilege of going for a walk alongside the banks of the Elands River at Nokeng Eco Lodge. What a stunning location. Can't wait for the opportunity to stay over at the lodge.

The place really needs serious maintenance and alot of upgrading, no wifi, no air-conditioning in the rooms, a major concern is the lack of security given that the place is very isolated from everything emergency related. I stayed a night had to leave in the morning, the stay wasn't so pleasant, we chose the place because it was believed that it was near Bela Bela, turns out its 64 kilometers away

My stay at Nokeng Eco Lodge was absolutely amazing, friendly staff, great manager Reinert and a wonderfull bushveld experience. If you want to get out of the rumbling city for a weekend of piece and quiet, then nokeng is a great destination. It's only about 1 hour and 45 min drive from Fourways and is situated in the beautiful Dinokeng game reserve.

Awesome experience, Tryphina has the most welcoming personality. The premises itself trully lived up to my expectations will definitely recommend this great location to friends and family

It's a beautiful outdoor place but lacks maintenance, too little staff available to assist. The lodge has no visible security measures in placesurveillance cameras, security guards, electrified fence etc.

Its beautiful and has loads of bird species. One problem is that on the papers we were given there stands no music, but yet if someone plays music nothing is done around it
