It's always a great place to get your baked goods. The area may be old and distant, but it's worth the drive.
There fish is good... Bit expensive compared to surrounding fish shops. The chip portions has decreased a great deal. Eg the R25 box they display may has half or thread quarter box filled... Box not filled Bread rolls always fresh always good
I have not bought hot cross buns in more than 20 years from them. We enjoyed it so much yesterday, quality still . Cakes are lovely too. Well done
Their baked products are amazing and out of this world 5 Stars actually. I am originally from the area but nowadays mostly live in Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal. But whenever I am in town Nonos is always my first stop & prices are very reasonable. Everything I buy there is heavenly. However I must give 1 star for the very poor customer service. Most of the staff especially the cashier in particular are always extremely moody & angry when I visit the shop. It gives off a very depressing & negative atmosphere. If the cashier is having a bad day or in a mood she should leave her problems at home & not take it out on customers that supports Nonos regularly. If this can addressed it will be a much more pleasurable experience.
Staple in the area. Fresh rolls. Lovely take away. Jam donuts always a winner and the one place to stock up on rolls for a braai or some nice chips, russian and rolls for a quick afternoon lunch. Quite a variety of items sold, both baked good and fried foods.
Always fresh, never personally disappointed & cheerfully so... outstanding service without dropping the ball. I've been going there for more than 20 years. There sweet things is what keeps me coming back for more. Keep the legacy going for another 20 years y'all.
When they say fresh cream, then it is fresh cream. My friend and i had to devour the cream donuts before we exited the parking. Greedy did not want to share. I think this bakery is in operation for more than 40years and I believe the Mom was a great supporter of the community and so are her kids and grandkids. What a legacy to leave behind. My question is, what legacy am I leaving behind? God bless you all.
Nonos bakery is a popular bakery in the area and surrounding areas. It has been in existence over 40 years. Their bread rolls are the best ever. Stays fresh enough to eat after 3 days. Their cakes and Chelsea buns delicious too. Thank you NONOS
The food there is so fresh! Very affordable prices too!
Delicious, freshly baked cakes and rolls! They use real cream not buttercream and it makes all the difference. Reliable for many years and I hope they continue to serve the best quality.
