Ocean Basket Brentwood Park

Worst Sushi I have had in a long time. Very expensive and pretty much tasteless. The rice was soggy the soya sauce was awful, and the soya sauce sachets are the worst idea I've seen. How am I supposed to dip my sushi in the sauce? Ocean Basket Brentwood will really have to up their game! I give it one star due to the waiter who gave really friendly and helpful service. Food/Sushi quality is poor and overpriced.

Small restaurant with quick and friendly service. Unisex bathroom is a bit small. Small kids play area outside the seated area. No smoking area available. Food portions on starters menu to small for the prices charged. The main meal came fast and fresh. The waitress was attentive, friendly and patient with the small kids. All in all a good night out during the week, for a quick meal with the family

Awful experience The Manager refused to open the door for the play area and expected my kids to walk in and out alone the main entrance I ordered a cosmopolitan - do these guys know what a cocktail is???? It had a whole glass of soda with what they claim included a tot of vodka and possibly a tot of some red syrup It was weak horrible to taste I never knew a cosmo to taste that way The waitress tried and she was good Sisa but that's all the good things I have to say

Enjoyed working over lunch with my friends. The place was empty inside and outside. Few couples came and left but never was the place full. The food was delish and the staff was friendly. Covid-19 protocols adhered.

Phoned them for take away - phone didnt work. So with covid not sure which stores are operational anymore we went to go check and rather decided to dine out - they where open. Upon ordering, my wife wanted white hot chocolate, they didn't have despite being on the menu. I ordered castle draft, again they didn't have despite being on the menu. Luckily they had the food the we ordered. Once we received our drinks our waitress disappeared. My drink was long finished wanting a refill and only after we finished our meal she re-apeared with a shopping bag having left the restaurant. She came by later and offered dessert, we declined but asked for the bill. We never got the bill.

The food was nice. We had oysters and prawns. Service was lekker. Will definitely go back again.

Food is nice and staff very friendly

Slow service. Food was cold. Waited another 40 min after table was cleaned to pay. Eventually got up and paid. Service definitely needs improvement.

The staff are friendly. The manager was really nice and welcomed us in when they were actually considering closing for the night. 10/10 for service and the food and drinks are exactly what you would expect from Ocean Basket, top class.
