Ocean Basket Emperors Palace

Had a great time there on Father's day. We went as a group of 7 and the service was pretty good. We got the fried zucchini starter which was good but their edemame fritters were dry and lacking in flavour. The salmon platter tasted fine and the salmon roses were pretty big. Their seafood platters were massive and looked amazing. All the prawns tasted fresh and well-grilled. The calamari heads were top notch and the calamari steak strips were crispy and tender. The hakes were grilled well and the lemon butter sauce went perfectly with rice. Even the table salad was excellent. Overall, good food and good vibes there. Highly recommend a visit.

This is one of the best Ocean Basket I have been to. The service was excellent, great vibe and an amazing experience. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He made our experience great.

Had a platter for 1, very good filling and tasty. waiter “Itai” was very nice even took a picture of me entering and recommended a new drink for me .. their lemons oh father they are so so so hard to squeeze the juice out “Itai” even went to get me some more but damn those things are like mini rocks.. the restaurant is clean with only 2 gentleman waiter serving people indoors and outside part of the restaurant and cleaning That makes it a bit delay with getting client served. But they make up on that few minutes waited with excellent service..

Abit pricey but hey all OB's are, although the service here was great, the food was amazing and tasty.Food: 5/5

I came here as my sister had her 16th birthday party here. when I arrived I sat down for over 10 minutes and waited to be served NOT ONE WAITER CAME. Eventually I was told who our waiter was, I told him that we haven’t been served and that there was no help here he told me to sit down so he can put everyone in groups, he then left AGAIN without even taking taking my order. My boyfriend had to go to the sweet shop to buy a crème soda because no one took his order. Not one person has served us while we’ve been sitting her for over 30 minutes now I will NEVER support this place ever again.

Food was okay. Service was really horrible. Had to run after the waiter for drinks. He never asked if we need more drinks or if we enjoyed the food. Not a very pleasant experience. Maybe your staff needs more training about how to serve customers. Waiter also didn't have a name badge. Restaurant was not busy at the time.

DONT GO HERE .the service was very bad. the waiter took a long time to bring our food. when me and my mother asked for plates he come with them after 30 minutes or longer. The water my dad order had was dirty cause the lemon inside had sauces. the food I order was a platter for two which I shared with my mother had so much butter sauce that it was very had too eat it. lastly the waiter's attitude was just the icing on top. sorry but if you want a ocean basket where you will enjoy go anywhere but Emperors palace. the waiter's name was Rocky.

Visited the restaurant yesterday to have a lovely birthday dinner, food and atmosphere amazing, however the service from our waiter was terrible, every time we asked for something it felt as if we were disturbing him he was irrational and annoyed and clearly did not hide his level of arrogance towards us. Since it was my birthday my hubby and 5 year old son wanted to surprise me with the usual birthday song and the amazing chocolate lava cake that I’m addicted too, however the waiter brought it to me as soon as my hubby and son went out to use the rest rooms. They missed the entire special part that we all 3 was discussing and looking forward to . I told him to wait and he responded that the cake will be cold. We left feeling unhappy has my little boy missed the part he was planning. Will never go back there. Even now thinking about our experience makes me sad.

A group of us were at your restaurant on Saturday evening 25th March 2023. The place was busy as one would expect of payday weekend. That being said the service was extremely slow, we waiting an inordinate amount if time for the food to arrive. Even ordering a 2 ND round of drinks was difficult as the waiter did not come by and check on us at all. And for such a large business to not plan for payday weekend madness makes no sense. When it came to ordering food, one of our group asked for the sole, which was out of stock. Surely you place a sign board outside to inform customers? To addd to this frustration the person asked if then your kitchen could make a combination plate for him, there was a definite no to this request. Customer service is very much lacking! If our party was not on a schedule to see a show, we would've settled our drinks tab and gone elsewhere. Secondly the table that we were given was placed just outside your restaurant doors under 2 lights. These lights are filthy, there are pieces of old feather duster stick to them, with piles of dust stuck to that. I actually got up to touch it as I didn't believe my eyes. That is unacceptable as it could've fallen into food, drinks and besides is not up to industry standards. Looking forward to your response.
