Ocean Basket Vanderbijlpark

We enjoyed a meal at this ocean basket restaurant today and has two different platters for two. Our waiter was Dlamini and I can truly say that he is a real treat. We had so.mutch fun that it was actually sad to leave. In addition the seafood was really good. It is actually difficult to recommend the one player above the other. Please feel free to visit this restaurant any time for a great meal.

On Saturday the 7th May we had dinner at my favorite restaurant and ordered our favorite drink what we calldecaffeinated creamacino, that's decaf cappuccino with cream, it's lovely. Then we ordered a starter of mussels in lemon garlic sauce, I don't eat mussels but I love the sauce so I eat those little buns they bring with garlic and green chillies and I dunk in the mussels sauce, delicious!! For main we ordered a plater for two with a side of vege, butternut and creamy spinach.Our drinks and the plater came in a reasonable time, we started plating then a pan of squid followed we were surprised because we didn't even notice that they were missing from the plater , anyway it was not a train smash since we haven't started eating. The vegetables were delayed, I spooned them into my plate when they were served eventually, the butternut was wonderful but the spinach was bitter. We informed the waiter and the manager came and apologized, he said they did not put enough cream. They prepared and served the vegetables afterwards, I didn't eat them because I had already finished my food but my friend usually eats the vegetables afterwards, there was no further complaint. Beautiful night! Friendly staff and delicious food. I couldn't stop ordering more oysters, I was so full by the time I got to my main but the prawns and calamari were to die for. I will taste the fish tomorrow morning, overall I am really happy with the food and service Food: 5/5

This place is the best fast and the food is always tasty and all the staff and managers are always friendly and the waitress Sibongile is friendly and quick
