Pukka Indian Cuisine

We only ordered at Pukka as my son wanted paneer. We were extremely disappointed at the lack of co ordination shown by your staff for a take out order. We ordered and were told the order would be ready in 40 minutes as there were 5 orders ahead of us. When we got to the restaurant we were told we had to wait another 15 minutes. Although there were orders ahead of us, the restaurant only had 1 table that was occupied. Does it really take nearly an hour for take out orders to be filled Really ridiculous The food was also disappointing. Dhal makani tasted like baked beans out of a can. Potatoes were undercooked and hard. Poor service. Poor food. Will rather try Jays in SW5 OR Exquisite Curry Den next time

Realy not impressed. Paid R150 for a half Lamb bunny takeaway. Then the waiter indicates no Lamb curry I ordered. Had to take lamb bone out. This was more like a soup. Exactly half a potato and about 6 pieces of small lamb meat. Bread fell apart, sauce/soup all over the place.Food: 1/5

My favourite Indian restaurant ever! The food never disappoints. The flavours are always rich and robust. The service is warm and friendly. The venue is lobbing enough to host a big group and intimate settings. The food is amazing. Wide variety of vegetarians and vegans too. Rating 4 stars because it is quite pricey with some dishes being R100+

I’m so disappointed, for a R100 curry I got half the size portion of food that I was expecting for the price. The food was spicy but lacking in flavor and in general not enjoyable. Also didn’t receive good service.

Worst Fish biryani ever! Not a fish biryani at all. The fish was also still frozen.

Great place to have indian cuisine to full. Serviceis good as well. I ordered Indian cuisine regularly and it meets my expectations mostly.

Chicken Korma with garlic naan bread was delicious, albeit a little too sugary. Yum!
