By seeing the pictures itself you should be able to understand how the restaurant is. Ambience is good. Cool place to hangout with family and friends. Chicken pakoda was too good here. Even the chilli chicken. Just tried veg Manchurian and Gobi Manchurian. Veg manchurian is so crispy and yummy, go I was so so. Even tried dosas here. Need to improve in the chutney. It’s just a coconut chutney. It would be great if they provide any peanut chutney. Recommended place for Authentic Indian tastes. Apart from the positives one negative is like they are using a lot of oil in every dish that they are preparing. Apart from that all good.
A good friend of mine from India invited me to join him for "the best Dosa" in Natal. Dosa is an authentic Indian dish. We had a couple of other dishes, too. See pictures. The Dosa was my favorite, and I would recommend my fellow South Africans to give it a try. Of course, Palki has all the other traditional Indian food. But step out of your comfort zone and experiment. The ambiance can be a little noisy due to the tiled floor and not my noise dampening, carpets, etc. And the 5th cause my friend was right. The Dosa was superb. P.s. I've had Dosa in India back in 2016. P.p.s. the pink drink - Bombay Crush is recommended too. It's like a milkshake, but better.

We heard about this place and took the ladies out for birthday dinner. We had delicious food and Ravi was a fantastic host.Food: 5/5
Best Indian food we have ever tried. The owner, Tristan was incredibly kind, welcoming and patient - explaining each dish and ensuring we were completely catered for. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was full which is always a good sign! We both tried the thali, delicious variety of food with great vegetarian options. We will definitely be returning if we visit Durban again!!! 100% recommend.
Hubby was wishing for curry so since we were not at home, we decided to try out Palki. He ordered the lamb curry with Naan bread and I ordered the non-vegetarian thali. There's 2 types of non-vegetarian, North n South snd i chose North. The thali consisted of Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken with rice, Naan n a yoghurt salsa. Sitting across hubby, who was sipping on his chai tea, the spicy cardamom notes hit so well across the table. Desserts was Bombay Crush n gulaab jamun in syrup. The food was absolutely divinne and they have a great variety You could just sit and eat the naan on its own. They have a great selection of vegetarian meals too. Variety of curries, breyani, seafood and different types of bread. Definitely going back to try my favorite, lamb breyani. Good family restaurant or great place to catch up with friends. Warning, its so hard to choose, it's like you want to try everything on the menu.
Aditiya was the best of the bests! Amazing food, that makes you fly directly to India! Such a good vibe, 100% recommendable!
What a good place, our waiter Aditya was extremely and fun to be around. He is a pro at what he does and in general this restaurant deserves 5 stars, from the food to the dining area to the service and comfort everything it perfect I highly recommendFood: 5/5
Absolutely delicious, fresh Indian Cuisine served without the wait. Nice location. The waiter who served us, Ravi, was very kind and efficient. There are no flaws at this restaurant. I just wish their interior design was more Eastern to give us the authentic Indian feel that we would have loved to have. But, you haven't lived if you didn't try Indian cuisine from Palki's as yet. I will definitely visit often.
The food was absolutely divine. From the drinks to the starters to the mains course, every single item was on point and tasted so fresh. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at. My entire family enjoyed the food and the service. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.
