Exceptional service from the team at Pedlar Optometrist again .... after loadshedding caused delays in the delivery of new specs, they pressed the lab to work late, and uber'ed the new specs to my house at 7pm so we had them in time for a trip. Honestly, I don't know why you would go to anyone but them. Well done guys, and thank you!
So glad I found them! My previous optometrist retired so I needed to find a new one and I'm delighted I did. My previous doctor didn't examine me as thoroughly despite my family history and Hilton actually helped me understand my needs going forward with regards to ensuring optimum eye health. The ladies are super helpful and charming. Just great all round.

Awesome!! Incredibly professional and use state-of-the-art equipment. Hilton performed my eye exam and afterwards told me that all was good and that I just needed a pair of reading glasses. He suggested I try a pair of cheapies from Woolies or similar for a while to see how I found them and if I felt they were uncomfortable after while then I should go back to see him so that he could hook me up with a pair of prescription glasses. He didn't even try to punt their reader-glasses. I appreciate the excellent business ethic! You have a customer for life.
Hilton is an amazing optometrist with a wonderful helpful and positive attitude, he was so good with my daughter, very patient and encouraging, and gave us parents some very informative advice and recommendations on treatments for my daughter's eye condition. My daughter has Keratoconus and Hilton came very highly recommended by our ophthalmologist specialist Dr Michael Attenborough as the leading optometrist in the Western Cape for children with this condition.
Without a doubt, the best place to go when you have very young children who are getting glasses. My child is 3, and got his first glasses at Pedlar when he was 20 months. Their patience with the little ones, and their knowledge and expertise make it such an easy process. I have been to multiple places, and Pedlar Optometrist is by far the best for kids!
Hilton and his staff are great. He is great with my son and explains things clearly. I highly recommend Hilton. A pleasant experience.
