Phillip Nel Park Fire Station

Station in the west that covers a large area up to Harties. Also assist in town should there be a major incident. Typical fire station in Tshwane with good and motivated personell. Also struggles with political decisions and due to that maintenance takes a back seat. Still be that as it may these guys are real good.

When there is an emergency, fire deparments response is very slow which is unacceptable. People could die waiting for their arrival. I called the nearest fire department, not 911, thinking i would get the quickest response but I was wrong. It's disappointing and unethical. The neighbours house was saved by the community and not the fire department.

This place is as useless as it can be. The fones never works when you need to get a hold of them in an emargency. There is a fire i needed to report and no answer not even from the station in 14th ave.
