Pickles & Things is one of Dullies oldest Bistros, with signature trout dishes and a decadent breakfasts!

“Pickles” as nicknamed by the new owners, has been a lifelong dream of the Van Wyk family. They have been loyal patrons since the bistro first opened its doors in 2004. When the opportunity came to own their favourite restaurant, Ben and Adri, along with their son, Jaco and wife Simone, could not tame their excitement.

Patrons can now expect an entire new recipe with a pinch of passion and that special touch to make good food taste great, complimented with the perfect selection of wine.

This is what a burger looks like. We asked for a well done burger and it was raw inside and I'm pretty sure it was a soya patty and smashed. Poor. Sad burger. We also ordered chicken strips as a light meal. Just chicken strips... no garnish... no chips... for R75. Can you really call it q light meal then with just strips?

Great restaurant  I was pleasantly surprised. The menu has a decent amount of options and the staff are helpful and friendly - I would actually tip extra. The food is tasty and freshly prepared. No need to make a reservation so just rock up, have a beer and eat some good food.

Interesting place. The food is good, menu has a lot of options however our waitress was telling the other waitress such a story it took a while to get her attention. But overall a very nice evening.

Unfortunately just had bad experience here. Orders were wrong several times and got sick from the food. Patties on burger was raw. Waitress not very pleasant. Place is clean with lots of potential though. Was warmly welcomed and that's the best experience we had there

We were at pickles and things with our two dogs.  The staff were very welcoming,  they seated us on the deck which had a lovely ambience and offered some water for the pets before taking our orders.  We ordered the burgers and were quite impressed,  the chips were really yummy and the toppings on the burgers were all of the best quality.  If you are in Dullstroom,  take a moment to give pickles and things a visit.

Very good breakfast, terrible service from the waitresses. Luckily the male server and his sister took over our table and everything was perfect after that. They should look at getting a full team of dedicated servers instead of just two.

Really good food, friendly staff and lovely service. Will defenitly be visiting again soon!

We went for the 2 most favorite dishes and they are both delicious Food: 5/5

Warm fireplace and freshly baked bread for breakfast in Dullstroom and you have me.

The trout pasta is definitely worth a go! Fresh green/yellow/red peppers and even fresher fish.
