Rademeyers Farm Style Restaurant

Mmm, was expecting more, sat outside, table glass was really dirty and was not cleaned, food was ok, maize balls were bland, the burger was a bit better, but nothing to write home about. The place has definitely declined a bit from its heyday a few years ago. Setting is still nice but some maintenance in the outside area wouldn't go amiss. There are just funkier places with better food and service in the vicinity so it's hard to recommend, i wouldn't say it should be skipped but it's not great either. The little shop on the inside has a few nice bits and oddities.

This place was recommended to us, we decided to go for a nice family lunch this Saturday. I must say, it was grossly disappointing. The food was nice, however the restaurant is filthy, its dusty, dirty walls, bathroom is dirty with cracks in the basin. And I’m not talking about it being part of the decor, it’s dirty. People came and went and their tables were not cleaned up even by the time we left. We sat inside as it was windy outside. The service was shocking, when we walked in 2 waiters walked passed us. No one greeted or acknowledged us. Still I thought let’s give it a try. It was really not a great experience from a service and atmosphere perspective. I certainly won’t recommend it. I thought it could be compared to a Tin Roof vibe, but it is FAR off. The food was nice, I would recommend management gives the place proper clean, and fix up some things.

After a lovely hike nothing beats a good breakfast. The atmosphere is faboulus outside under the trees in the shade. I had an omlette good food bit dry, my friensd had a Brunch breakfast and the other a Farmhouse ladies breakfast .Food: 4/5

Hike in the morning and relax eith a delicious meal afterwards. What a great surprise to discover this gem. Lots of wild animals to see and the giraffs are the star of the show. Small chapel and venue for weddings. The Rademeyer house has been rescued in the nick of time and some rooms are still under being renovated. A wonderfull stoep all around the house adds to the feeling of an out of Africa setting. Highly recommended

Restaurant is part of the Moreletakloof Nature Reserve. It's nice to go there to relax after a hike in the reserve. However, you need patients; we only ordered something to drink and waited a long time just to get coffee. Plus point that the coffee was delicious. Ostriches roam around outside while guests can relax and take photos.

It's a lovely setting in the heart of Pretoria East. You have the opportunity to go hiking and spent some time in nature. Afterwards you can enjoy either a nice breakfast or a hearty supper, depending on the time of day.Food: 4/5

Great place to unwind. Feels like your in the bushveld. Buck, Ostrich and zebras roaming around. Staff were friendly.Food: 4/5
