Booked this hotel on Airbnb. Had an awesome time here! Monique totally rocked as a host – super helpful, friendly, and straight-up. The place was a gem, with a fresh, modern vibe and spotless to boot. Now let’s talk about the gym – it was on point! Top-notch gear, clean, and just the kind of space that makes you want to get in an extra set. All in all, a seriously solid week spent in this cool pad. Two thumbs up!

We stayed in room 516.  The extractor fan above the stove top is disgustingly dirty and needs repair. See attached pic. The cushion covers on the chairs are worn and need replacing. See attached pic. The white walls are badly marked and dirty all over the room. See various pics attached. As soon as you zoom in you will clearly see all the markings. Headboard on the bed has worn patches making it look very shabby, tattered and cheap. See attached pic. Skirting boards are worn making it look very shabby, tattered and cheap. See attached pic. Wiring under the glass table with the TV is a mess. See attached pic. Fridge had black mould in the freezer. See attached pic. Blinds completely tattered and worn. See attached pic. Bedside table full of what looks like burn marks. See attached pic. Dustbin full of dents and missing foot pedal. See attached pic. Tap in the bathroom basin was broken and just rotated the entire tap when turned. See attached pic.  Dismal disappointment for an establishment called the Sandton Skye. Calling it a luxury apartment is laughable at best and at worst mendacious marketing.

Room 516. Honestly, disappointing. No wifi in the room what year is it?, there is mold in the fridge/freezer, and there are not enough cups and glasses for two people. If you're staying in Sandton you might expect soap or shampoo in the room; hope you brought your own. No coffee sachets or tea provided. Not all of the lights work either. The bins don't have bags in them. It's a bare skeleton of a room that one might expect if staying in a small town somewhere, certainly not in Sandton where there is so much competition. There are far better places just around d the corner.

Dirty blankets and linen. You must invest in decent nice hotel linen. Floor Capet was not vacuumed. There’s no generator we had to sit in the darkness for hours. No coffee machine like other hotels we’re they’ll offer coffee. Love the location where the hotel is situated close to restaurants and malls.

Beautiful place, in a great location and beautiful view.  But they don't attend to the little details, which are very important to the guest. let alone not resolving the electricity issue. There's no room cleaning, leaving our bins to overflow. They don't provide the full tea/coffee kit, how do you drink coffee without milk not being provided. No bathing soaps or bath foam, just a gel not enough options. There's a lot to step up too besides a pretty room.

Very lovely and secure place in Sandton, stayed there without power cuts during load-shedding.

It’s such a pity, the apartment hotels are a great idea, but it all comes down to the owners, they need to step up their game, service their apartments and be more interactive. The apartments are spacious, great view and good layout..Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great as the owner of the apartment wasn’t very interactive, and hadn’t serviced or cleaned his apartment very well. There was no back up power either and he didn’t care to even inform us. I don’t think I’ll stay there again and neither would I recommend. Rather pay for a hotel.

Stayed here for a month. It was awesome. Good views ,spacious room, Landry room ,underground parking and its very safe. Booked on Air bnb .

I Love Sandton Skye one of the best Hotels around Johannesburg I will highly recommend it.

I booked a room on the 7 January 2023 Room702,I checked out the next day and forgot my boots there.Boots I bought in Portugal I have been the 3 times and haven't gotten  my boots back till today
