Saps Gauteng 10111 Centre

I witnessed an accident on the highway in Gauteng today M1 North. I called 10111 at 15:16 and was eventually attended to by a gentleman who sounded like he was on a very short fuse. I advised him where the accident had happened, he asked where the nearest police station was, I took an educated guess figured he might know better?. He got very irritated at my asking him that and, guess what, he cut the call on me!! No empathy in his voice whatsoever. I tried calling back and ended up giving up. Boggles the mind!

My life was in danger in the middle of Johannesburg. Had to call 10111 six times because the call kept getting dropped. Firstly I was told that there was too much noise from my end, and then for taking too long to find out the name of the street I was on. Thankfully after the sixth attempt a friendly and helpful gentleman answered. How and where does 10111 find some of the people they hire? This is a disgrace!

It is a disgrace. Your life could be in danger and they eventually answer the call like a holiday resort. The sad part is they cannot speak properly and neither can they spell simple words. REALLY! After a spelling lesson and the time the call is answered the criminal is long gone. Did they actually go to school?
