I was very impressed by the service I received at Spar today. The staff were not only polite and attentive, but also showed their creativity and enthusiasm by dressing up in different outfits to commemorate Youth Day. I saw some staff wearing traditional clothes, some wearing sports jerseys, and some school costumes. It was a fun and festive atmosphere that made me smile and enjoy my shopping. Spar is a great place to go if you want to find friendly service and quality products, as well as a bit of entertainment and joy.
My daily stop or shop... Friendly management and staff. Family oriented store. Aisles are friendly and easily accessible items. Parking ample and safe.
Figtree is my favourite shopping experience. Products and prices to my liking. I want to give a shout out for PAUL one of your managers. I was not happy with eggs that I bought a few days ago, he gave me fresh eggs, no questions asked, just friendly helpful service.thank you Paul.
Service from till and floor staff very helpful. Only complaint is that as soon as something sells you don't find it there anymore. Beef ribs - gone. Slap chips - gone or barely in stock. Then there always the stickers supplier out of stock.
I'm so furious , I always buy at spar but I don't think I'll go back. I waited so long so a supervisor and on top of it all the superior never came coz he's busy with another customer and they don't know whr the other supervisor is . Lack of customer service.

Always friendly staff. I enjoy shopping at Spar the staff knows my kids by name. Prices are always good.
I am very disappointed in the Spar cooked food they are selling. Every now and then I have to stop there to buy cooked food to to loadshedding and poor planning from my side. Everytime I do, there's something wrong with the food. The tramazinis and wraps with tomato and egg on doesn't get checked daily. The wraps will be so soggy from the tomato and the eggs on the tramazinis will be off due to the heat. In this week I decided to treat myself with the full lunch option they have for 79 bucks which is a good price with a slice of cappuccino tart. The pumpkin and the carrots had an off taste and smell. I felt like this was cooked the day before and not stored properly. And the cappuccino slice tasted like the dishes it was made with wasn't rinsed out properly as it had a soap taste. I was really giving spar 2nd chances but I think this weekend was my last time supporting them.
I like this Spar. It's always clean and the shelves are neat and well packed. The staff are always very nice and friendly. From when I start going there in 2017 nothing has changed except for the food and bakery counters and better walking space.
Spar Figtree used to be one of my favorite stores but not anymore. There's always mistakes on cash slips. If you don't check ur bound to be shortchanged by some Rands. Today 3 items I was overcharged on. Eggs more than R5 X2 self raising flour by few Rands and semolina X2 by a few Rands. So that adds up! And it's not the first time! We can't be checking our slips all the time! Do better please!
