Stelle Restaurant

Stelle is one of my favourite authentic Italian restaurants in Joburg. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and would highly suggest their Rabiola and Truffle Ravioli! Service, however, needs to be improved.

The chilli pasta is great! I haven't tried anything else on the menu as it is not halaal but their food seems good. For Italian food lovers. They have a lot of other great stuff on the menu as well.

Great hidden gem. Service is just okay. The pasta is fresh. Delicious. Cooked to perfection. The wine list could be seriously improved. Great for sunny Sunday lunch. Parking: Totally fine and secure

I made a booking 2 weeks out and 2 days before on a Thursday, I was sent the following message by the restaurant: Goodday just wanted to let you know that the function for Saturday night just confirmed we are advised not to take any other bookings because they want the whole restaurant Note no apology nor an offer to accommodate us on another day. So I asked when they did have availability and told that evening or Friday. So I booked for Friday 19:30 and upon arrival the 2 gentleman gave us an odd stare and asked if we were part of a group and we said no. We had a confirmed reservation for that evening. It was abundantly clear they had forgotten. As they scrambled, they tried to put us in a room which had 1 large table and naturally that table objected. They had no alternatives. Spoke to the Manager who again did not apologize for the restaurants mistake. She just asked that I send a screenshot of the WhatsApp messages I had exchanged with the restaurant. At that point we did not feel valued and told the restaurant we leaving and went to another Italian restaurant. Based on how poorly the restaurant handled this situation, firstly from cancelling our original reservation 2 days out and not offering any alternative, I had to ask and then arriving at the revised scheduled reservation and then just scratching their heads with again no apology! We will not try this restaurant again as they messed up multiple times!

This was such a pleasant surprise and a wonderful culinary experience. Definitely on my top 10 ten list of beast restaurants in Jozy and definitely on the top half of these.Food: 5/5

Delicious salmon and zucchini pasta, the food was a little slow to come out but we were in no rush. The pistachio Gelato taster we were treated to after coffees was sublime.Food: 5/5

Extremely dissatisfied, made a reservation for my guests at this restaurant for dinner tonight 5th November @,7 .. they confirmed the reservation , my guests arrived only to find this restaurant closed , rather disgusting... I now find myself in a highly embarrassing situation. Surely if they needed to close there doors , have the decency to call guests and advise them. Never again will I recommend this restaurant.

This is a little gem of a restaurant in a green space in Sandton. It may not have the interior/exterior design standards of other Sandton restaurants but you come here for the food. This is a real familly Italian restaurant with real North Italian food, under Italian control. The rabbit ravioli was amazing and the truffle ravioli was the best I ever had. Of a group of 6 nobody had anything bad to say and every plate was eaten clean.

Food was amazing! Garden setting is nice and chilled. Service was excellent aswell

Wonderful lunch outside under the trees with delicious food and accompannied by a very accomplished saxophonist.
