The pop corn is either stale or a large bag has decreased to the same volume as a small bag but prices continue to rise, I guess it's a profits game. Overall the staff is very friendly and efficient. Cinema is clean

Great experience! haven't been to a cinema in 2 years thanks to our friend covid But this was truly well run, ALL precautions in place Friendly staff Organized Clean Really enjoyed the online booking platform, that allows you to go touch free. The new popcorn bags are amazing So much popcorn I couldn't finish it The bigger seats in the Cinema were super comfy and spacious and the separation you used to make people feel at ease was also top class, I did not feel close to anyone even when they moved past to their seats

Loadshedding and movie was cancelled as Ster-Kinekor doesn't have a back-up generator which was annoying. Next show was far too late 17:30, for us.

Worst service. Load shedding and the only place in the mall with no electricity. Asked them what time the next show will start - waited until they had electricity only to find that they told us completely the wrong thing and all they could do was point to the screen and say, "See the show isn't on."

As always, dissapointed coming here. The airconditioner was not switched on. Complained about it. No reaction. I would expect from the cinema manager to walk through the theatres AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY DAY AND THROUGOUT and make sure the cinema is ready to receive patrons. But no, that is not how Ster Kinekor operates. Just shows having the monopoly is so, so bad for the customer.

The beautiful disaster was a disaster but not beautiful.

The cinema is set up now to book everything online including 3D glasses and popcorn combos before you get there. There were however a few electronic machines to buy your ticket there. This is to minimise contact for covid. Then your code is scanned on arrival. The seats were comfortable and it is still a great movie experience at Sterkinekor.

The flow and design of this place is just ... bad, if you do have to come here I'd recommend giving yourself a 15-30 minute extra cushion. Thankfully we went when it wasn't busy, because we probably would've missed half the film if there were more than 10 people at each of the 3 different counters we had to visit to do 2 simple things: retrieve our pre-ordered tickets & get popcorn and drinks. To top it all off, they forgot to switch off the lights for the movie, and they only did after three people got up to go and tell them.
