Super stylish spot, prime Clifton location with iconic backdrop views of the Twelve Apostles, and breath taking sea views, think sunset cocktails. Alas we were in the area with some time to kill, our kids were playing soccer on the pitch at the Glen County Club that flanks this über trendy venue. Although I can’t review the menu, it looked pretty good, with a drink menu to match. Not priced for locals in my opinion, but hey, for a view like that I’m willing to pay a little more. As a spot-check, this is high up there, even though this city has so many. Worth a visit, I imagine summer evenings must be a vibe! Ciao SB ~
Visited The Bungalow while we were visiting Cape Town. It’s a great bar/restaurant closer to Clifton 4 beach. Great ambience, ocean view from the terrace, very friendly service, great range of cocktails and mocktails and great seafood options on the menu. Highly recommend to go for a couple of drinks and/or brunch.
Really enjoyed our meal last night. Its very impressive how they do it so well and so fast. We loved our seafood platter, some great wine and the overall buzz of the place. It was also fun to watch some people table hop from the back tables to the sea front as they became free then start to complain about how cold they were after the sun went down. Our server was brilliant too, friendly and fun
Three of us had a wonderful dinner here - everything was perfect. I would 100% recommend booking a table. We sat outside which was very comfortable and the service was great. Our food was very tasty and the drinks were well made, especially the cocktails. We just regretted because we went to that restaurant the day before we leave Cape Town. Service is top notch, location is great and foods is super delicious especially for Asian. For the price, we have dined few restaurants in V&A waterfront area, compared with those restaurants, it’s not expensive though. If you want not only delicious foods, but also better pictures with ocean view/ sunset views, I suggest to book in advance. Must try sea foods platter. Cheer!
A very enjoyable experience and there atmosphere just adds to there esthetic of the entire place. Food was amazing even though I do feel that some items are a bit overpriced. There service was good, everyone was willing to assist. Overall great experience. I would recommendFood: 5/5
Enjoyed a lovely dinner next to the ocean. I ordered the sirloin steak with truffle mushroom sauce and broccoli . The lemon tart for dessert was yummy and of course… tart! It paired great with the vanilla ice cream. I had a fantastic experience and our waiter was awesome. Thank you

I recently visited The Bungalow Restaurant in Camps Bay Clifton, and I have to say, I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The location of the restaurant is simply stunning, nestled right on the edge of the beach and offering breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding area. The atmosphere of The Bungalow is relaxed and elegant, with a beautiful interior that perfectly complements the stunning views. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which is a delightful mix of classic and contemporary cuisine. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The seafood, in particular, was fresh and delicious, and the flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced. I would highly recommend the grilled prawns and the seafood platter, which were both absolutely divine. The drinks at The Bungalow are also excellent, with a great selection of cocktails, wines, and beers to choose from. The bartenders are skilled and attentive, and the drinks are beautifully presented. Overall, I can't recommend The Bungalow enough. The location, atmosphere, food, and drinks are all exceptional, and the experience was truly unforgettable. If you're in the area, make sure you make a reservation and experience this incredible restaurant for yourself!
The food was excellent. I went as part of a wedding party. Everyone had something different and everyone loved their meal. We were sharing all around the table to see what the other person had. The service and atmosphere were great. Highly recommend and hope to return on my next visit to SA
