We wanted to try a restaurant in camps bay and stumbled upon this little gem. Now I have eaten at waterfront many times but this was a better experience than all of them . Food , drinks were great. We tried steak , ribs , burgers and their pizza too. Wine , beer , coffees were served as requested and quickly . The desert was amazing lava cake but ice cream was average . The highlight was the service and the reason was our server Alfred who was so attentive and was focused on providing great experience to all his guests. People like them are a great asset to a business and are the reason for people returning to the establishment. I look forward to visiting the restaurant again .
Really lovely service here, great view of the sea. A nice vibe with quiet music too. The food was delicious and the strawberry daiquiri is to die for. Would totally come here again.
The food was good. We had a nice breakfast. It is always crowded. Hope they add some vegan options in breakfast Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian or vegan options which is surprising considering cape Town vibe for vegan
Interesting one. We meant to go to Mantra and made the mistake of thinking upstairs and downstairs was one restaurant. See pic and be more aware. The 41 was ok. I would give it 3.5 but rounded up. Service was SLOW....food was good but you are paying a premium for the location.
I think overall it was not an ideal day, but the venue has potential. The food was cold and not really tasty, the fries were raw and came back raw even after we sent them back
I loved watching the sunset from 41 while sipping on a cocktail! Service was efficient, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the manager also inquired whether we were enjoying our meal. I had the best snail starter I've had in years! I thoroughly enjoyed my burger! My guest also enjoyed her starter and main. There is nothing I can complain about, it was a perfect dining experience.
We were there for dinner from 6pm to 8:30pm. The staff are friendly. We ate from the set winter menu. The food is tasty and the portions are not bad. However the selection isn't great...so you limited to what you can eat. But what we did eat wasn't bad. We sat inside the restuarant area as it seems those sitting outside were the smokers. The restuarant is cosy and looks clean. The ladies and gents facilities are clean. Because it was a birthday dinner we had some young teenagers with us but this is not really a place for children. There's not much of a view from the restuarant outside to the beach unless you go outside but we could see the sunset from where we sat ...it was magnificent! Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options but they do cater
Delicious food. Tasty cocktails. Friendly staff. Stunning views. Couldn't recommend it more.Food: 5/5
We went here about a year ago for brunch and the food was amazing, however when we went there again last night we were so disappointed with the food. The seafood platter for R 695 was a joke! Absolute waste of money. I had steak which was very nice but the fries were tasteless. Pizzas had no flavour, bland as can be. Staff was helpful. We sat outside and people from the street were literally staring into our eyes while we were eating, small children begging and some even leaning over eating leftovers from other tables. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and will not recommend this place or go back there again.
It was great, I was fortunate enough to be there during happy hour when the cocktails were half priced. I also had to try something on the money that caught my eye, the churros, they were fantastic, I highly recommend getting them, they consist of mashed potatoes and parmesan, they were definitely worth it, they come with a chipotle mayo as a dip. They atmosphere is really relaxed and laid back. The staff are really good and kind. If it wasn't for one of the staff members enthusiasm we probably wouldn't have gone here. It ended up being one of the highlights in our day.
