This was our very first visit to Beach Bums and a very disappointing one at that. Firstly I have to admit, the atmosphere is amazing...just beautiful feeling the sand on your feet, enjoying the most amazing view with really good music. Secondly, the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. And my word, they were so apologetic for the terrible food received by their breakfast Cafe team. Thirdly, their signature milkshakes are truly fantastic. Totally insta worthy and they definitely know how to play with your tastebuds. The disappointment was their terrible breakfast menu, you either step up or scrap it. The menu is clearly not working. A simple breakfast with a decent toast, sausage and eggs would be sufficient. I would love to come back, maybe someday I will, it's a really lovely place and I really wish you guys well.
Nice vibe, good food, reasonable prices. You can sit right on the beach, the service is great and the staff is friendly. Great place to go out as a group for dinner and drinks. Also family friendly
Had been wanting to try Beach Bums out so I visited for the very first time only to find out that the kitchen was under reno and only one chef was available or so.. Only woodfire pizza was available along with the drink menu. Looking at Google reviews we often amp ourselves to the good ones. It's sad I wasn't made aware of this as I had called in before embarking. The pizza was tasty and crisp but could do with more toppings, food isn't cheap and doesn't need to be especially considering the location. Taking that into consideration the steak was diced into the smallest pieces, there's no need to save on toppings. I enjoyed the dispatch chicken pizza although sauce was on overload, my personal opinion. Drinks were OK, very Instagramable, could be our selections that weren't that great. Service from our waiter was great, staff were very friendly. Hope to see this restaurant again on a thriving day.
Very first time at the place. Friends took me out for birthday lunch. Not sure if I will visit again. Have mixed thoughts about it. The food was great, appealing to the eye and taste great as well. Absolutely loved the fries. The atmosphere was good, can never go wrong with the beach. Liked the music as well. However, the service I am not very excited about. Never been to a place to eat where as a customer absolutely nobodythe waitrons pays attention to you. We basically had to find our own way to get seating, finally found a spot then waited more than 25 minutes to get menus, meanwhile waitrons are up and down. We eventually had to flag a waitron who was going to serve another table. Improvement on the service I believe would make Beach Bums experience better. Waitrons must be trained and taught about customer care.
Had a fantastic waiter Gavin. Was bummed that there were no other vegan options other than a focaccia and that their Hippie Burger Vegetarian patties were cooked on the same grill as meat patties. Not sure I'd eat there again but it's a nice place for drinks.Food: 2/5
We had a great time here. Its right on the beach. The pizza and coctails were great. It has a great atmosphere. You can get stuck here for a while and just vibe.
The experience starts from the tranquil drive along the coast heading towards the north. Once you arrive you are greeted by friendly car gaurds in their more than ample parking lot reassuring you on the safety of your car. The entrance is where you are greeted by friendly servers who immediately take you to a table in the many seating areas of the spot. We opted for the new space which has a swimming pool and many games like pool and darts to mention a few. The wait for the beverages is the only thing that let them down. We had a few baskets to share and was really satisfied. They have a spa for the ladies while guys get to enjoy the view with an ice cold beer. Worth the drive. Well done guys keep it up ps they now have a lodge on the premises if you had a few to many to drink.
Would recommend for a sunny day to have the full experience, they do have a lot of space inside as well though. But being outside with your toes in the sand is first prize. Waiters are friendly, and the beach is beautifulFood: 4/5
Beautiful little place to enjoy cocktails /drinks on the beach. Friendly staff. Not very busy. Need a lot of marketing to get more people there. A bit expensive on cocktails. Kid-friendliness: On the beach. Kids can play anywhere
The best place to be. Wonderful food, great vibes and a view to die for. Come put your feet in the sand and relax with a cocktail. Best hidden gem ever.Food: 5/5
