Town Lodge, Port Elizabeth

I stayed there on a business trip. The rooms are neat but small, with a stunning view of the iconic "6 pillars" and walking distance from them. My only issue was that there wasn't a mini bar fridge. The staff are absolutely professional and courteous, from reception to kitchen staff and security they really made us feel welcomed. I just wish I was with my family to enjoy. Definitely a place to stay if your thinking of Summerstrand. Rooms: Neat but small. No mini bar fridge. Smart TV with screen cast capability. Safety: Did not have any concerns with safety, I walked to most places often. Including boardwalk mall Walkability: Close to boardwalk mall, the beach and restaurants

Rooms are always Nice and clean, staff members are very friendly that's including the Security guards. Keep up the Good work guys, U will always be my 1st choice when it comes to book a Hotel Rooms: Always Nice and clean

The Hotel is amazing but it would be even better if they could have a small fridge in the rooms. Otherwise theres nothing much that you can complain about.Rooms: 4/5

Amazing friendly Staff,and helpful,Cleaning service very good,beautiful View..My only issue was that there was no fridge and microwave in the rooms…Also the restaurant menu lacks variety,very few options which forces one to order out even if they dont want to..was disappointed when i ordered “Shisa Nyama” was expecting braai meat only to get grilled meat

Dining tables not being cleared and cleaned timeously, at 22h00 on new years eve, tables were left with dirty plates and cutlery but on the side of the lounge for the family to relax.. Found this unacceptable and the manager was on duty..Rooms: 4/5

Relaxing atmosphere with the sounds of the ocean. Convenient if you just want a place to sleep and eat out. When booking, book a room with a balcony, facing the ocean, its worth it to have a breathtaking view. Tea and coffee self service available in the room with kettle. Only gripe, no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes. Other than that, wonderful experience

They tried to put us in the smoking zone rooms at 6th floor without disclaimer or disclosure. And when we asked to be changed they kept on saying it's what available. Not sure why they allow clients to smoke inside when there are stringent tobacco regulations in SA about smoking inside buildings. Food wise thier in-house menu lacks variety, they also sell meat yet they don't have steak knives.

The place is really nice, but I would have loved it more if the rooms had things like a small fridge even microwave .Rooms: 5/5
