Tribeca Standard Lynwood Bridge Fine Food & Beverage

Had a Sunday lunch @ Tribeca standard before we went to the Atterbury theater. Food was deleech. Had a garlic flatbread with extra Moz cheese. Comes with chimichurri, basil pesto and harissa R78 and a little porchetta deboned pork belly R105 my friend had oriental calamari and halloumi and veggies. Great food and vibe and service

Yes the coffee is great and the food I enjoyed. But service is really shocking for this kind of establishment, thus the 3 stars. They are always busy, that tells me the customers do not care for slow service? They do add 10% tip on your bill automatically and I do want to commend the waiter that pointed it out to us, she could have easily just kept quiet.

Tribeca Standard always feels like home. From their good food to their pleasant service. I always recommend each one orders different dishes to share amongst friends as their food is too delicious for you to miss out on other dishes. Top on my list their burgers, mussels and chips the mussel sauce is to die for. With Pretoria's high temperatures what better way to cool off with the best cocktails in town. Their passion fruit magarita is the best .

Very nice place. I went with my wife for a quick lunch. They have options of small plates that are very good for who does not want to eat so much but still wants to enjoy good food with fair prices. Recommended.Food: 5/5

The atmosphere and location of this place is really good. The service received was not great initially. We got seated at a table outside chairs were not quite comfortable and a waitress asked to take our drink order. Since we were not 100% sure of the drinks we wanted, I asked for 5 more minutes to decide. 30+ minutes later our waitress hadn't returned and an attempt to gain the attention of other staff was unsuccessful. It was like they were looking through our raised waiving hands and expressions of dismay. We decided to move tables, to one with more comfortable seating and while doing so we received a snide comment from another server. Something along the lines of 'so you have decided to sit here now?!'. I guess choosing a seat is not up to the clients here. After we sat down we got an amazing waitress, and I decided to order an old favourite of mine , the red velvet cheesecake, along with a coffee. The cheesecake was a terrible dissapointment. I am unsure how a cheesecake went from a mind-blowing experience to something that tastes like nothing. I had 3 bites and then decided to leave the rest. On top of all of this, a tip was added to the bill without my consent or knowledge. The instruction is that if you do not want to tip you should call the manager to remove it aka make a scene. I have nothing against tipping my server but this felt unpleasant to me as well. Sorry tribeca, you were wonderful in the past but this was my last visit.

Dropped in for a quick pre-theatre bite, and was well impressed. We often take cappuccino for granted - but TriBeCa's are simply next level. Their cheesecake is the perfect texture and sweetness. Even a simple pepperoni and mushroom pizza is a thing of beauty here. Service is quick and friendly, even in a busy restaurant. The only weird thing about it is that they add the 10% service fee up front - I would have given more, but hey.

Love this place. Has a great vibe, but can get a bit noisy when very busy. Great pizzas and generally good food. Crackling with bar snacks need some seasoning though Food: 4/5
