Tsitsikamma Khoisan Village

It's an awesome place to visit and you get to learn a lot about animals and nature it self. Its also a good place to meditateRooms: 5/5

Bad experience very dissapointed got there loadshedding whole wknd no water, cupboards broken, toilets dont flush the worst will never go back there again. That place should rather close if they can't maintain it.

Although the accommodation is well priced, I was disappointed at the state of the 6 sleeper chalet inside. We've booked two 6 sleepers and one 4 sleeper chalet. The 6 sleepers looked like it was not cleaned. It really needs a spring clean. The draw where the cutlery was in, was dirty, the kitchen cupboard door looks like it wants to fall off. The tv cabinet was full of dust and the tv needs a wipe down. They need new fridges and these also needs to be cleaned. The day that we arrived my daughter phoned reception to complain, the cleaning lady came but left all her cleaning product and said she'll come back the next day to clean, because its already late... I can go on and on... Four years we ago stayed at Khoisan village and I was impressed with interior....but not anymore. Can a place deteriorate in 4 years?...I mean we were the only people there from the Thursday and only the Saturday other people arrived. No man, they could have cleaned the place nicely. To me it appears that they only concentrate on the bedrooms. These chalets needs an upgrade. What I can't complain about is the spectacular views, peace and tranquility.

They did not have warm water in the camp site but the campsite is very neat and well taken care off, and over the season time they were not busy and the cheapest place to camp by far, would definitely go back!

Accommodation is very well priced and in good condition, clean and good location for Bungee, Big Tree and National Park Activities - all a MUST SEE!!! We had already booked our accommodation elsewhere, but Emily was So Super Awesome and Helpful at getting us sorted with signal and directions Thank You Emily, especially for helping my mom with accommodation a while later - You will not be forgotten!!!

I was really disappointed in the state of the chalet , when we first entered the chalet you could tell that the place was not properly cleaned as you could literally see the dust on all the furniture and surfaces. The bathroom was the worst area in the chalet from the hole in the wall to the cigarette bud on the windowsill and the shower being dirty and just in general disgusting. I had phoned reception to get someone to clean but even the cleaning lady said that the bathroom was clean and that the shower looks like that. We had to personally clean the shower to feel comfortable and the rest of the chalet. The fridge was another problem because it couldn't close was just dirty inside. The doors looked like they were going to fall off and just in a bad condition. To be honest I was there a few years ago and the place was amazing and looked completely different to how it looks now , I don't know if khoisan village is under new management or if they just don't care anymore but I can definitely say that it doesn't look the same and has completely changed from what I remember. But other than that the view and scenery is amazing and beautiful and would only vist for that next time.

Used the camp site in December 2019. Had intended staying 7 days but vacated after 2 nights due to shocking state of ablution facilities. Only 2 of the 20 odd stands were occupied and there were cleaning ladies seated all day chatting and not once did they clean facilities besides empty the bins. Would not recommend this site to anyone hygiene conscious. Wooden cabins looked decent from outside but under same management that looks after campsite.

So far so good. I am spending the night here tonight. I was given a thorough walk around . I have just arrived after 11pm but the security guard spent time showing me around and make sure my room is up to scratch.

Its affordable and they have the best service ever. It is situated right next to the Bloukrans bridge. This is the highest bungee bridge in the world. The view is gorgeous therefore its a must see.

Friendly and efficient staff and excellent client. The accommodation is of highest quality. Just be sure you have everything you need as shops is quite a drive from here. You can do bunji jumping here and enjoy the various walking trails in the open air
