We both loved our time at Inzolo. We saw 4/5 big five leopards being more difficult to catch and our ranger, Dave, was very knowledgeable about both the animals and vegetation.The land space was both expansive and the vegetation vast. The food at Inzolo was nothing other than outstanding 5 star chef! The service was both professional and personalized too. Our chalet was private and well modeled; it also had a big, comfortable bed. There is only enough room for 8 guests total, in the entire lodge, which makes the experience that much more intimate and special. The pool was a little small and cool we arrived in April, but that is the only minor improvement we would recommend with Inzolo. We immensely enjoyed our visit and would highly, highly recommend the lodge for your game drive stay in South Africa! Btw...please stay away from cat walks, elephant handling, etc all NOT offered at Inzolo...but. many people open these businesses to get people used to handling the animals so that they aren’t afraid of humans. They later release them for game ‘hunters’. This is something many tourists don’t know, but it’s common knowledge in South Africa. It’s good to know if you are planning your trip and you don’t want to promote that sort of sport, especially with endangered animals!
Beautiful lodge which only accommodates 8 guests at one time. The service really is 5 star. Lead by Chrissy as Lodge Manager and Dave as the game ranger, our stay couldn't have been easier or more fun. We saw elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion, giraffe, hippos, lots of different antelope and even mongeese. The lodge is set in a beautiful valley which overlooks a dam which attracts wildlife. The lodge offers two drives a day, and no two are ever the same. If you're a foodie, this place will absolutely tickle your taste buds. Sebastian is a great chef, who is very humble but very talented. He offers a fantastic menu for breakfast, high tea and dinner and is incredibly inventive for those with dietary requirements. I would absolutely recommend Inzolo as it's exclusivity is one of the things that sets it apart from all the other game reserves on the Eastern Cape. Fantastic work from all staff at the lodge and from Chrissy and Dave who make the lodge such an inviting place.
Beautiful lodge in the most amazing setting. The staff were extremely friendly and always professional. The food was good. Was a wonderful stay.
