Uitspan Caravan Park & Chalets - Caravan Park

Trying to contact them - no telephone numbers on the internet. Eventually drove there - told in no uncertain terms by the woman who eventually answered the buzzer that they no longer take caravans, only chalets. Wouldn't recommend it due to it's location - on the road out of town towards Dullstroom taxi & truck route.

The owners of the park are the most unbelievable people always going the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and as amazing as possible. The chalets are well kept and extremely clean. There are all the appliances needed in terms of cooking. Our stay here has been really amazing.

We stayed there in extremis. It's functional and cheap but, by their own admission, not entirely safe the owner, confirmed by a couple who live there permanently warned us not to leave anything outside at night lest it be stolen as had happened to visitors the night before our stay and both sleep with a loaded gun under their pillows.

The place is not a safe place for accommodation it's very bad there's no bath soap and their tvs are not in good condition and no heaters.

Chalets fully equipped but standards not so good. Second class furniture and bedding.

Very good. Not five stars but friendly owners and nothing is to much to make you comfortable.

Friendly staff, clean. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Very poor facility!!Not suitable for decent people.

Unsave place to stay....stole our chairs last night!
