Van Rhynsdorp Caravan Park

right a few minutes next to the N7 there is this beautiful place called vanrhynsdrop caravan park still dont know how to spell the name. you dont have seaview but there is all you need if you wanna stay with your caravan electricity, showers and bathrooms as well. they also have a small restaurant with in-and outside tables and of course a super cool bar with a little pool. the place is managed by a very friendly lady we could met and would love to stay longer.

What a great weekend. I love the quietness. A nice place for a break. Management and staff r very friendly and nice service. Will definitely go again

Very nice and clean.. Warm welcome. Beautiful scenery. Campsite very pretty and was full. Such friendly campers. We ate at the ZAR Restaurant and definitely value for money. Food was great and huge portions. Can definitely recommend this spot. Flowers are beautiful as well.

It was not as we expected, completely run down, for R300 per night in our own motorhome it was a rip off. No toilet paper and no running cold water until I had to ask and not clean at all. It's also right next to a graveyard and no security.

Okay for an overnight stop. It was dusty as cars raced along the dirt road that runs next door. Ablutions were basic but clean.

The camping facilities are adequate but the ZAR Restaurant on the premises is exceptional. We always make a point of staying here when we are in the area.

The food in ZAR restaurant is really nice but I can't say the same for the campsite. Limited shade, nothing but gravel, could only find 1 tap in the camp. Noisy people staying in the chalets that carried on till after 12. Ablutions need a revamp and bringing into 2020 not 1960. Who sticks stones on toilets lol? Won't be back.

We camped here for 5 nights. Beautiful campsite with clean and adequate facilities. Suggest that some of the ablution facilities are upgraded. The owners Jean and Nico are friendly, helpful and has gone out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had dinner at the restaurant 1 evening and the food was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. We booked for 3 nights and they accommodate us for 5. Jean gave us good advice on routes to travel to experience the area and the flowers the best. Will recommend and definite revisit in future.

Very affordable accommodation with great restaurant and great prices at portions greater that expected

We had a lovely stay at the caravan park... ablutions old but clean...nice restaurant and cold beer... reasonably priced... good stop over on the way to Namaqualand... there's nothing happening in VanRhynsdorp though...
