Isle of Sky farm - Tulbagh

Bring your 4 x 4 : Small vehicles will hate the very rocky road to and from the Cottage. Plus there is a very steep decline which leads to the cottages. Otherwise it is serene, amazing views of the mountains up close, a swimable dam. Its a working fruit farm, so expect to hear the tractor in the morning. The sound of the horses nearby will let you know you out of the city. Be aware when you head to the town centre, we were a little nervous of the not so savoury locals who watch your every move, and your handbag/camera/wallet. Must try the local chocolatier. The chilli chocolate was amazing!
