Riverzicht Robertson

We went for a week and had a wonderful peaceful time. The camp sites were clean and big. Beautiful green grass. The bathrooms adequate but could do with a bit of an upgrade if im being picky. Having said that I've seen way worse. They were clean and showers good. We spent all our time floating on tubes up and down the river or fishing. Lots of campsites available along the river edge also options of cabins or tented camps. We really enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful weekend of camping at this beautiful location. The campsites all have a power point, braai and basin with running water. There is wood, ice and water for sale on an honesty system. Bathrooms where very nice and cleaned three times a day by the staff. There are various options available for camping depending on your interests, from bring it all yourself up to just arrive and everything is set up for you. The kids spent hours floating up and down the river and fishing. Highly recommend this campsite, we will definitely be back.

Always a great place to camp along the river - ablutions always clean and tidy, sites are well kept. On our previous visit, there were disrespectful campers who disregarded the rules. The owners arrived within 5min and promptly removed them from the property. Will continue going back!

Would highly recommend this place, if you want peace and quiet. Our kids weren't to keen on swimming in the river though but we had a nice relaxing weekend. Will definitely go again but without the kids...Hotel highlightsGreat view, Quiet

Rivierzicht Robertson used to be one of our favourite camping sites in the Western Cape. We would take a little dinghy and an electric motor and had a great time chugging up and down the river - a nice long stretch of a few kilometers of river. Now they have said no boats allowed. Such a pity, as it has ruined this site for us. Will have to find another campsite - such a pity - who ruined it?

The perfect glamping spot. Very clean - tents and bathrooms. It was raining heavily and our electric box had an issue, it was resolved within the hour after a quick call to management. Well handled.Rooms: 5/5

This was our second time camping at Rivierzicht and what a let down this time around. The owners were very obnoxious and not very accommodating. We were told to move our tent by 1m because we crossed a non-existing boundary line of our plot after camping for 3 days. Bathrooms are also completely filthy and gross. Only saw cleaners once a day and even so, all they seem to do is move dirt around with filthy mops. The attitude of some of the campers were also shocking and caused some real animosity between neighbouring campers that the owners did nothing about. I would also recommend that a specific fishing plots be identified away from the swimming area as swimmers and those fishing were clashing unnecessarily.

Definitely one of my favorite campsites in the Cape, providing grassy sites, a river to cool off, great ablutions and nestled in Roberson. Great for a sneaky wine tasting My type of camping for sure!

We had the best time at Rivierzicht River resort. The wood water and ice right there available for purchase was very convenient. Town is not to far away if you need to go buy something. Bathrooms are very clean all the time. Campsite is big and right by the water. We had campsite number 12. Could have stayed longer. Do yourself a favour and go visit this place.

Wish there was a minus 1 rating, because I would highly NOT recommend this place. Not family friendly, if you have kids or wanting to come and have a camp fire talks, stay away. We were chased away by the owners after a 1day stay in a very u respectful manner. Sad to see such behavior still existsRooms: 1/5
