Always delicious! Caters for both the adventurous and classic tastes. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth every cent. Not really child friendly, but perfect for that special date night!
Was at a private function today. Rump steak for main course was sinewy and not properly aged. Basting tasted like bottled tomato sauce. Service was slow, erratic and not enough waiters for the amount of guests. This restaurant has become very ordinary over the last year or so. Waiters not friendly and place needs some strong management to raise the work ethic.

What an atmosphere. The food is amazing and so are the staff. They need their food and have so much knowledge of their dishes. You just want to go back for more because you feel appreciated. You feel like you are the only customer when attended to.
Service is good, but the chef misses the basic rule of making sushi, at the meantime try too hard to apply the so call "east meets west fusion" style. Sushi rice was squeezed too hard so it became the consistency that close to hard mielie-meal pap, which ruined the texture of the rice ball. Too little varieties of fish to match the price they charge. maybe fine for western customers who usually don't try anything else beside Salmon, but for me as an Asian with Chef parents. They won't see me ever again.
Fantastic food, the sushi is really something different.Tiger versus Dragon is one of my favorites and is definately an explosion of delisiousness. The wine list is really great and the venue is well furnished with friendly professional staff.
As far as South African sushi experiences goes, this was by far the best I have had. The fried haloumi starter was so-so, with the sauce pour over it causing the crispy coating to become soggy. But the sushi, it was great. The meat was very tender and fresh, the presentation great. Loved it Oh, they also had Singha beer, my favorite.
This is a wonderful experience. The place is easy on the eye and a wonder when you step through the door. It is filled with hospitality when u take your first step in. The waiters are trained to perection. Not a bunch of tip chasing hooligans. The seats are comfortable and the manager comes and interacts with you. Sincerely. Ima the sushi. It's like a bite of heaven. Mixed with sweetness of a kid. It melts in your mouth literally. The desert was amazing. And the waiters and managment was patient. They cared and they did everything to help us have a wonderful night. Amazing amazing amazing
Wide variety of foods. Very much gourmet foods. Very upmarket sushi and drinks. Great atmosphere with cozy seating. I wouldn't say good value for money, but the food is generally quite good. It's become my place to go on an occasion. X
