Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre

About

Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre is a registered "RIGHT TO LIFE" organisation that is involved in the rehabilitation of abandoned , Neglected and abused animals.

Mission

Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre was opened in April 1999 because of the belief that all animals deserve a second chance in life and that healthy
animals should not be killed just because they are unwanted. A safe haven
had to be opened for these precious babies where they stand a chance of
getting a new loving home. Wet Nose is a registered non-profit organisation
devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of lost, abandoned and
neglected animals. They are a right to life organisation and do not believe in
euthanasia, except in the most extreme cases – they try and re-home all the
animals into loving homes after they have been rehabilitated and sterilised.
To date they have successfully re-homed over 20 500 dogs, 1 700 cats,
donkeys, goats, horses, guinea pigs, pigs and rabbits

Products

A Board of Directors oversee’s the running of Wet Nose. (The Director’s are not
remunerated for their position as Director of the Organisation and do this job
voluntarily and out of a love for animals.) Fourteen full-time staff and an office
manager run the Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre; the tasks not performed by
the staff are performed by volunteers, the Directors, committee members and
Chairman at little or no remuneration.

Very helpfull and effective in treating my dog. Also all other animals brought there Highly recommendable also for other services they render.
Went to Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre world of wags today. Nice easy walk and for a good cause. Entry fee is a bag of dog food. Nice let friendly coffee shop on the premises. Beautiful horses, donkeys and doggos. Best part was seeing so many volunteers walking the dogs. That excitement in their faces. Priceless. If you can't donate...go walk a dog. It means so much to them. They are doing such an awesome job with the animals they rescue.
I love love love this place! Grooming horses that have been rescued and cleaning stables, is just so rewarding...then walking the cute doggies...and seeing the stocks in yhe tree by the dam. We also had a picnic break by the restaurant. :
The place was great. Especially the vet. She was extremely helpful and insightful. She gave our puppy her complete focus. Asking us questions and giving advice. Definitely recommend. The only minor issue is you can end up waiting for some time to see her. But where you wait is comfortable.
Wonderful staff with a diligent and thorough work ethic and absolutely amazing doggies and kitties and even ponies! Please go and find a pet to give a forever home to, they all deserve it.
The animals come first here, and it shows. They take exceptional care of the dogs... and the cats, horses and donkeys : Do yourself favour, and go show some love by going there and taking some of the dogs for a walk.
The vet is so affordable, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Animals are really their passion, and everyone should be supporting them by sponsoring a kennel. The kennels are extremely clean, and the animals are looked after really well. Well done
Amazing experience. Thanks for everything you guys do!!!
Took Rolo for a snip-snip for only R650. 00. Half the price what other vet's charge
Beautiful place!!! Animals are so well taken care of! The staff are so nice! Lovely place to volunteer and adopt
