We offer holistic healing sessions for people and their pets.
As a child I knew i always wanted to do something to help animals. As I grew up this became more clear as I got into rehabilitation of racehorses and abused horses as a volunteer. After studying stud management to get some information behind me, I realised I did not want to breed horses, although babies are just too cute!!
Working in the veterinary industry I have studied up on my dog and cat nutrition and qualified as a Reiki practitioner in May 2017.
Also at Tom Ro Haven, I am offering holistic riding lessons. Mostly geared at kids, but we welcome adults too. These riding lessons are not just riding, it's how to care for your horse, feeding, grooming, learning about tack and natural horsemanship. It's relationship building.
Feel free to contact me if you think I could be of some help.
Respect and happiness,
Marion
Wild Elk Therapy is founded on the symbology of the mighty Elk.
We strive for our animals to be able to stand tall and proud like the elk, with us beside them. Completely comfortable, the perfect, harmonised team. We should be treating them with the respect they deserve, and reciprocating the loyalty they grant us.
Wild Elk Therapy was born out of an empaths’ need to share the beauty of connection with animals. I have always been the person who befriends the peoples’ pets before the people. I find animals to be honest and reliable, and easy to understand, thereby allowing myself to be open and genuine around them.
The therapy we offer is for animals and people. It may seem that our vision is more geared towards animals, but that is only because they are my first love, and I believe they need the help. We often neglect our pets needs because we are unaware of them, they cannot tell us when they are having issues, so we need to be extra attentive to their normal behavioral patterns.
As animal therapists we also advocate for their needs, advising pet parents on other subjects that may affect the pets general well-being.
I, Marion, am a qualified Equine Stud Manager and a Reiki Master with experience in the horse industry, and the small animal veterinary industry. The advice and therapy I offer are not meant as a replacement for veterinary care in any way. They are prescribed as supportive therapies for holistic care. The same goes for treatments on people, alternative therapies do not replace medical care.
