Witspos Mail centre (Post Office)

I was pleasantly surprised by the assistance I received from the WITS mail center in locating and delivering my parcel. I hadn't expected such helpfulness, and it's reassuring to know that there are still a few individuals who genuinely care about serving customers at the post office

Please can you tell me why my parcel has been at the post office since 6 June? My parcel arrived in South Africa on April 30. It has been over a month that it has been in the country and yet it has not been delivered. Please can this be resolved?

I cannot praise Cornellious Khanyile CK from the South African Post Office, Wits Pos enough! In a service industry plagued by poor customer service, Mr. Khanyile stands out as an exceptional individual who consistently goes above and beyond for his clients. I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Mr. Khanyile, and I was blown away by his professionalism, patience, and willingness to assist. Despite the challenges posed by the South African Post Office's reputation, he delivered outstanding service that exceeded all expectations. Mr. Khanyile's attention to detail, proactive approach, and problem-solving skills made my experience a breeze. He tracked my parcels diligently, provided timely updates, and addressed all my concerns with empathy and efficiency. What truly impressed me was Mr. Khanyile's dedication to customer satisfaction. He consistently went the extra mile to ensure my needs were met, and his friendly demeanor and resourcefulness made every interaction a pleasure. I highly recommend Mr. Khanyile to anyone in need of exceptional service. He is a true gem at the South African Post Office and deserves all the recognition for his outstanding assistance.

I was very stressed as I have been waiting for a package to be delivered from the US as it was something I purchased as a gift. After tracking the parcel to Witspos, I was able to get a hold of a lady by the name of Lindiwe, within a matter of two hours, I was contacted by Lindiwe to be informed that she was in possession of my parcel. It was extremely seamless to collect the parcel and took no more than 30 minutes. I cannot thank both Lindiwe and Thobeka enough for assisting me in this regard.

Terrible service, nobody picks up… seems like they have removed the phone off the hook. I went there as I was told by customer service that my parcel was there, when I got there they said it’s not there and still at JIMC. Nobody replies to emails at JIMC or calls nor does anyone help at customer services via email or their landline.

I would like to pass a special shout out to a guy named CK at Witspos post office. All my life I have never come across anyone with such an amazing work ethic and customer care. I went in there doubting if my international parcel was really at that deport or if I’d get it and hey I walked away with my stuff. The rest of the stuff members are just as kind and caring. I think the main problem with our post offices is the capacity to cater for all those parcels and this could well be blamed on the government. I am so happy and thank you thank you thank you everyone at the post office.

Phone number listed rings once then cuts off. Second phone number rings a few times and then gets put down. Have been waiting since April for a parcel that arrived in SA. It has finally made it to the Wits hub according to tracking only to have no further movement for a week. Absolutely DISGUSTING the level of service. SAPO does not reply to emails or assist in any way. And they still have the nerve to charge import duties on top of TERRIBLE service.

MY parcel seems to have been here for 3 months if not longer. I ordered something February and it was delivered to SA by the 8th of March. Since then my parcel has been to the Airport tracking centre and then witspos. Till today I still have not received my parcel. Torture

They don't answer their phones and they kept my international parcel with them for 1 month

I am amazed that a PRIORITY MAIL parcel can be transported from Texas to OR TAMBO International Airport in 8 Days. 1 Day in customs..and then 29 DAYS- That''s TWENTY NINE DAYS from OR TAMBO through the WITSPOS sourting centre and has yet to be delivered to Edenvale. The problem is that venting here is just for my own good, cause no one at the post office will take the time to read it...mind you they are busy sourting...
