Description

Woodlands Lodge & Conference Centre is a wedding venue in Pretoria and situated in the Bobbejaansberg Nature Reserve between the scenic Bobbejaansberg Mountains of Boekenhoutskloof. This Nature Reserve/Conservancy of over 930 hectares hosts a diversity of fauna and flora with breathtaking rock formations where more than 20 species of wild animals and 200 bird species can be spotted.

I'm not a fan of the Lodge experience, but it was good. Went for a work event and stayed over for a night. Its a lodge, so dont go expecting a hotel experience. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms come with a can of Doom bug spray to handle the evening buggers. Room was decent. Good place to go to if you have kids that want to run around. Rooms: Nice size room. Bed was comfortable. Water wasn't hot, it was lukewarm, not bad though. Comes with dstv and a couple of channels. Shower and bath tub as well which is nice.
The stuff was super friendly and the owners as well! Philemon was very welcoming and always willing to go and extra mile. The food was amazing! The location is very quiet and peaceful. The self catering chalet is extremely spacious and have all the utensils you can ever need .The pool area is extremely beautiful and has a sense of nature. My partner and I highly recommend!

Pure tranquility, a home away from home. Clean linen and towels, comfortable beds. Kitchenette is quite small,even the table is small. Luckily the weather was great so we set up breakfast outside. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. There are designated braai areas with tables and chair for people to sit and enjoy the ambiance.
The hosts and staff were very friendly. A warm and welcoming smile from Philamon upon arrival. Fritz and his extensive knowledge of the suurveld area on the afternoon game drive to the team who prepared and served us a scrumptious 3 course dinner. Rita was there with Philamon in the morning to greet and welcome us at breakfast. The rooms are spacious, neat and a lot of attention to detail went into the rooms, gardens, conference area and dining hall.
Absolutely fantastic staff, especially Charles, he was amazing from the booking until we left. He really has a calling for serving people in hospitality. The Logde itself was amazing, and we will definitely be going back in summer! If you want a getaway but don't want long or expensive transport costs, this is definitely fort you.Rooms: 5/5
I made a booking at the establishment after viewing their profile which included photos of their restaurant and different menus they offer. They also stated they had a spa facility. After booking they called me and that’s when I discovered to my horror their restaurant was closed and the spa was some kilometres away. I told the owner I can’t stay there as I needed a relaxing holiday where I will be pampered. They agreed to reverse the payment of R6400, 00 I had made directly to them over the phone. This was the 2nd week January 2021. Since then they have been giving me numerous excuses about why the refund has not been done. I am really disappointed as they seemed like decent people when I engaged them over the phone. They have been giving me empty assurances just like con artists. I am now forced to take legal action to recover my money
We spent a teambuilding weekend at the lodge. Enjoyed the drumming, quad biking and game drive. Accomodation absolutely clean and beautiful. Attention to detail. Very good food and service. Cannot fault a thing. Felix and Rita are awesome hosts. Highly recommended.
Neat, clean and comfortable Accommodation. Amazingly friendly staff. Great tasting food. Fun bushveld drive with great views of game and scenery. For anyone from Corporate to Family stay.
Fantastic lodge if you want to rest and relax. Surrounded by stunning views and amazing rooms. Service was impeccable. Special thanks to Charlie!
