Monateng Safari Lodge & Game Reserve

Was an absolutely an amazing experience, My friend lost his wallet and the staff picked it up for him with everything intact. The staff are incredible and honest special mentions :Joe and of Chris at the games rooms made every activity so much fun and enjoyable for everyone there.There are activities throughout the day you get to participate in. The game drives are lovely , Lazzoris is highly knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. Thank you to everyone there for an incredible experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were getting cleaned everyday,thanks to our housekeeper. Lovely & friendly stuff, Thobeka at the cafe kept a smile throughout, Lazarus at the game drive was knowledgeable, Debbie at the reception was welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return & recommend Monateng.

Infested with flies, had about 50-100 flies in our chalet all the time, couldn't get rid of them no matter what we did. Won't be going back again, it is disgusting. Can't even shower without flies flying around.Rooms: 3/5

We were invited to presentation at. The lodge which we accepted. First they did not send us anything at all. When I phoned to enquire they sent us a reference number that's all. No directions, no resort name, no location. After we drove around to try and find the place I called them. Then they sent me a location but at that time it was to late already and want home. Think it is very unprofessional way of doing things. Surly if you invite somebody you should include the directions or a location. Very disappointed.

Peaceful resort closer to Pretoria, friendly staff from the gate to the chalet, thanks to Charlotte and Petrus for keeping our chalet clean,will definitely come back. JosephineRooms: 4/5

Nice for a quiet getaway not far from Pretoria. Nice units and amenities. Very friendly staff. Special mention must go to Charlotte who ensured a clean unit daily and Victor ensuring we have a clean braai and grid every day. Abundant bird life. Just a pity about the flies still being a problem, but seems to have improved if compared to previous comments from other reviews.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge for a week. We enjoyed the stay very much from the security at the boom gate made us feel welcome, Debbie at reception gr8 welcoming smile and friendly. Daan thanks for your friendliness. Joe from games room happy go lucky. Lazarus on the game drive goes out of his way to show us as much game as possible very knowledgeable. In fact all staff even garden staff friendly. Jake's the giraffe hang in. Debra the zebra hope the baby comes soon. The only negative is some people instead of enjoying nature prefer to make noise at night. Other than that we enjoyed our stay with nature. Thanks game room
