Sun Valley Pharmacy was established in the Noordhoek Valley in 1985. It is the sister pharmacy to the well known and trusted Wynberg Pharmacy. Very rude and unfriendly staff especially that floor assistant Wendy. She's of no help and the way she handles situations and simple questions really is bad to their business. An elderly lady was complaining to Wendy about the service that was rendered to her. Wendy's response was just a plain old 'sorry' and then walked off in a hurry just to stand somewhere else leaving the customer in distress. I on the other hand was given by my Doctor with over 30 years of experience a prescription letter for an injection only to be told by the sister the Doctor doesn't know what he prescribed and that she couldn't make out he's hand-writing which was clear as day light. No wonder Sun Valley Pharmacy hardly as any customers these days. Their lighting sucks and their shelves are half out of stock. I then went over to Clicks opposite the road and their staff was just amazing as always. Very well trained and competent staff. Welldone to the Clicks team continue making our Community proud.

When this pharmacy was Medicare the assistance with products and signage was excellent. Since becoming a Dischem Pharmacy, there is a lack of signage that is URGENTLY needed. There is NO distinction between prescriptions and self-medication or OTC as was previously displayed. As a result of this, I waited for more than 10 minutes for an indication of where to stand. Very problematic and unprofessional for a big corporate like Dischem. I understand that Dischem wants uniformity and their brand but surely a temporary signage will assist the customers?

Rude and extremely condescending staff at the dispensary. Rather go to Clicks or Dischem across the road

I find the people pleasant but chaos reigns supreme in terms of them delivering and getting prescribed medication delivered timeously -  I really hopes it improves.  Allot of the stock has to be ordered in which is problematic as there are inevitable delays.

Made an appointment for child to have her vaccine between 2 and 3pm today.  Take a days leave to do it  and took my child out of school early  Get there to be told the sister left at 2pm.  Not acceptable at all.  If there are appointments you stay at work until they are done.

Charged for blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar when all I had done was blood pressure... Total rip-off and the nurse didn't even give me my results. Only said it's high!!

I am trying to call the pharmacy but an electronic voice says welcome 1st available assistant will help you...5 minutes later I'm still listening to the same boring music. Tried 3 times!! JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

They are the most attentive, kind, and helpful pharmacy people I've ever worked with.  What a blessing to be able to work with people rather than a company!

Professional, knowledgeable pharmacists who give good advice. Geat nurses. Friendly staff. It's a busy mall, so don't go during high-traffic hours if you're impatient ; -- i.e. avoid the lunch hour crush!
